It actually worked once or twice before, ONLY randoms though. But this dude actually stayed for several matches and we were even in skill so it was pretty fun.

Losing survival progress because the game randomly cannot hit the server is infuriating. How that got through testing without somebody putting a stop to it is a sad indictment for this games production.

I've lost FM from disconnects with replays no longer rewarding me, despite never earning it in the first place.
Damn joke. I'm staying away from Story and survival until they sort it out. With my Ryu it was personal. Rest of the cast can wait their turn.
I'm fucking pissed off. Tried doing Laura's story again to see if it would give me the FM...nope.

Walk, don't jump, use cr MP to go under fireballs, use your insanly good far reaching normals to play footsies and make an opening.

Likewise. I need all the FM I can get, especially when lobbies don't even reward reduced FM or EXP. Along with Survival spiking in difficulty the last 5 rounds.

I'm using JoyToKey to map both my TE2+ and TES+ for Street Fighter V on the PC, and I've finally got JoyToKey and SV5 to recognize both arcade sticks... but they're both controlling Player 1, I can't figure it out for the life of me - any ideas? Should I try a different program? Xmapper? Help please!

Nash is so good and I have no idea what to do against him as Mika. Very frustrating match that looks like it should be even until Nash does crazy teleport combos and shite.

Is there really no way to have audio out of the DS4 headphone jack while using an arcade stick or alternate controller? I have my PS4 hooked up via HDMI to my PC monitor and I've been just plugging the 1/8 to my speakers into the DS4 when I play. With Street Fighter V I wanted to use my arcade stick, but when I switch controllers the game automatically disables the DS4 and audio. As of right now either I play with the DS4, or with no audio. Maybe I am missing something? Or maybe the title of this OT is accurate.
Thanks for those matches Novum. I definitely feel like I have a better grasp on Mika, Cammy, and Chun Li now. With Karin I still feel like I'm relying too much on her normals and throws, which are great, but I know how good her combo ability is from messing around in training. I guess I need to just build up the muscle memory. That did help me learn to stop spamming Ressenha so much which I had been having an issue with before. Sorry again about that first match; I hadn't noticed that you had the character select off.
Just use x360ce, don't know why you didn't try it out in the first place.
It's even recommended by Capcom officially as long as the game is not updated with native support.
Stop constantly asking what to do with Direct input devices, just look it up.

With converter it's at 5.2 frames.

Replay what ever you were playing and didn't get the money for, and you will get it. The server keep track of what you finished while online, even if you played the entire story mode offline, and get a 100% completion, you can play it again online and you will get paid for it.

if you have difficulty with the timing, just record a cpu doing fireballs, and practice.
Easy - Spam throws and heavy attacks
Normal - Spam throws and heavy attacks until Necalli and Bison, then play seriously
Hard - good luck

Really? Against most characters I feel like Ryu should be on the defensive. Either because he has to be, or it's the best way for him to win the match up. Only in certain match ups like Sim or Nash is when I think he has to be the aggressor. If you like to rush down, Ryu isn't that character. I

How are you supposed to confirm that though, as can't know if he will parry? Seems like it would develop into a bad habbit if you were buffering it on your normals.

All of the dlc aside from premium costumes is essentially free. March is adding a Trials mode, daily challenges, tutorials, the in game shop, where doc characters can be purchased with currency earned in game, and some sort of Boss fight mode called "Bonus Battle" that we don't really know much about. In June they're adding a Cinematic Story Mode. They've also apparently told Forbes that they may add an arcade mode, and that they are adding increased difficulties for story mode, which is super easy at the moment. I think that's all the single player stuff that's been announced. Up to you whether or not you consider that to be decent. I do, but I know some probably don't.

Eh, that's not true. Getting in can be difficult but I've seen some aggressive ass Ryus put in work. He just has to work harder to stay in I feel like, but there's nothing wrong with rushing people down and stuffing them all day.

Maybe it's because I'm having to adapt to all these characters but I'm way better with some than others.
OH AND ALSO, I did M.Bison's run with his Battle costume which Amazon gave me my code today...and it ONLY UNLOCKS the Battle Costume ALT. So I have to do it all over just to get Color 3 for M.Bison...
So basically Capcom wants you to play these modes twice. Once to unlock the alt color of the original uniform and one to unlock the Battle Costume alt colors.

I hate myself. I am not a good player, ok st best. I practice in training mode, learn basic combos, but when I am playing online and start to lose, I panic and star button smashing lol

Learn to play without combos and punish with super basic stuff then introduce combos later when you start to optimize your game. With crush counters you can get some crazy damage with very little input

I feel like Ryu's perry is way too hard to pull off to get any value out of it. I forget it's even there. I don't think I've seen a Ryu use it once and I've played a thousand of them. In the beta I saw one guy use it really well I guess. Not sure there's anything capcom can do about it anyway.
edit: I had 14 wins in a row before I lost and play Ryu :O But I didn't rage quit when I lost.

I probably should buy an arcade stick if I want to get better because I just can't seem to land the combos with the DS4.
Also I have no idea how to use V Trigger, I know how to activate it but I don't know the combos.
