Is anyone having problems randomly disconnecting from the server? I'm not sure if its the servers or my internet is just completely shit.

I'd say about half the matches I get while waiting in training end up disconnecting before the Vs. screen. But I'm still getting matches in less than a minute.

It's rough. I think I got to 28 and had the same thing happen. So frustrating. Makes me not want to try any of the higher difficulties.

I got to 30 as Nash with half a health bar and got Bison to 25% before he got in a single combo that wrecked my shit and KO'd me.

Servers being slow is my guess. They have every mode tied to the servers in someway basically to report bison bucks and stuff.

Hey guys,

I know there is one for the neogaf FGC already on PS4, but I thought it might be nice to have communities and channels of communication, for this game specifically. To join this, add Chronospherics and I'll invite you.

I've also made a SFV group chat for Neogaf members, if you join this and favourite it, you can very quickly see everyone online, who you have in friends and who you don't, and message everyone everyone asking if they'd like to fight etc.. We use these group chats very successfully on other OTs like the Rainbow Six Siege OT. It can be handier when grouping people together.

If you'd like to join either group, just send a message to Chronospherics on PSN and I'll add you to both. If you only want to join one then just leave the one you don't want to be a part of.

Finally I've made a spreadsheet where everyone can log their Capcom Fighter ID, either on PC or PS4. Adding people from this list should make it smoother for everyone to match up, and you can follow each others replays and such too.

I'd say stop worry about combos at this point. If you can do just some simple ones right now consistently, that's fine just stick to those. What you should be concentrating on is just footsies, defense and just how to open up your opponent for your basic combos. Once you got a solid hold of that, go back to the advanced combos.

I actually got so salty today I was about to quit her and play Ryu. Then I went into training and realized how slow he his and how his buttons are way crappy compared to chun... lol

Haha, yeah I have way more fun playing Chun Li that I don't want to go back to learning the game with Ryu even though I might have more success. I'm just hoping that once I start improving my game plan with her, I will really start to take off with that character. Right now I am in perpetual rookie tier that I'm ashamed to even talk about it. On launch day I was steadily climbing the ranks, but now I'm down to embarrassing levels.

Any interesting changes for Zangief in this installment? All I can see is his air throw, maybe the V-skill cyclone thing. I know he could combo into pile drivers in one of the earlier versions of the game, but it seems like that's gone.

His half circle, kick throw doesn't have armor even with EX. Makes me sad.

Money doesn't show up when offline. You'll need to log in to check if it saved it.

Had a good Battle Lounge session with randoms. FANG and Mika did their thing; had some clutch wins and also managed to pull things off that I had been practicing in the lab. Felt good.

I need to go back to Bison though. FANG has consumed most of my time the last couple of days.

SFV is a great, great Street Fighter. I haven't felt so into the roster since the ST days. I really can see myself learning everyone in some capacity. Well, except Necalli. Fuck that guy.
