Not saying they haven't had a fair amount of issues from the start (there are still a bunch) but give them some credit for listening to complaints and improving. Apart from a few games, most matches have been flawless today for me.

As someone who cringes when Laura pops up, this was annoying for me as well but this guy below actually typed something useful.

It's not a combo. It's you holding down back and eating a command grab. Try neutral jumping in this situation. The command grab will whiff, and you will punish.

Now we just need to recognize the sequence that she's about to throw from and jump at the right time. Thanks jmelons.

Holy jesus, I almost had a heart attack. I just finished a ranked match and because I won (against a Karin, which is probably my hardest matchup right now) I got 50 FM. BUT. OH GOD. For some reason the game bugged or something and I saw a huge -168900 appear AND IT LOOKED LIKE MY FM HAD BEEN RESET TO 50 FROM 160000+. I WAS HORRIFIED. I immediately went to the main menu and it appears to be fine though. I think I'm gonna take this weekend off SFV for now though, I'm not even getting matches more than 1 every 10-15 minutes anyway due to the servers being overloaded. I don't watch to risk some sort of weird server glitch stealing away my FM. Has anyone else encountered this? Maybe I temporarily lost my sanity and hallucinated the whole thing.

Yeah, that seems to be happening as of late. In higher rankings like ultra bronze it is more prevalent than ever. It sucks because I was ultra bronze and now I'm back to super bronze because of rage quitters and matches not registering.

Since the servers came back online, I have been getting a match nearly every minute or so, it's been absolutely great.

I had a few unfortunate disconnects tonight, but nothing while I was losing, so hopefully people understand.

Ended up in Bronze for the night, which I'm totally happy with. I still have a long way to go, but I feel pretty comfortable with Necalli's basics at this point, and I've won against a lot of randoms in ranked throughout the night.

I keep getting destroyed by good Nash players and hyper active Rashids. The first because I can't do much against them, and the second because they create a super vacuum of lag, where the character just warps around the screen and kills me. Otherwise, I lost very few matches 2-0, they almost always go to 3 rounds.

This is a huge step up for me, as I've learned crush counters, when to punish, footsies, and all kinds of good tactics. Plus, nothing feels better than hit confirming a SSJ Necalli CA to end the match. That smug look on his face when he delivers the KO punch is amazing.

I'm done for tonight, but i'd like to do some lobbies with GAFfers later to really practice my shit this weekend. What a fantastic game.

I wish I could say the same. I've had people over to play all day and would love to keep playing after they went home but I can't even get a casual match or lobby going. I can't even get results from a search in the lobby menu anymore.
