I always thought Fiona Apple was extremely attractive and I liked the mania I perceived in her, but the actual music is the problem

Music is subjective to the max, so I never hate on anyone for not liking stuff that I like. I mean, especially Fiona Apple, she's not as approachable as other singer-songwriters.

I don't know anyone who's being talked about

So I'm gonna listen to El Morgan who is a very good song-woman

Liiiiiiisten to Fiona Apple. *hiss*

Oh my god.

I think she's very pretty but for some reason I don't feel attracted to her. It's like looking at a family member. That happens with some women. I don't know why.
Same thing happens to everyone, I think. Attraction and attractiveness are separate things.

I thought about this actually. I love her but I think she can move very awkwardly at times. it's cute but probably not something that makes her hotter in some people's eyes.

Also kind of funny, when I first picked up the Savages album, I noticed there was another album I already had by a group called Savages I hadn't listened to, but they're a jazz/instrumental group. They're cool too!

I always thought that was part of her mass appeal. She's one of the awkward girls but not afraid to be awkward.

While being hot.
I don't find her that attractive

What's the etiquette on going to a birthday party of a friend of a friend? I always found it awkward and don't quite know how to deal with it

Go and have fun :) your friend will be there I figure,so don't worry

Oh goddamnit, one of the people who was going to be coming has just said they can't because they need to prep for an interview tomorrow, so now we're down to either 3 or 4 people

Grrrrr

So sleep with them. Got it
Is your friend there? If so I don't know why it's awkward. Ideally your friend will introduce you and now friend's friend will also be your friend.
yeah.

Well in situations where I have multiple friends at a thing like this it seems like sometimes the party person ends up getting a little ignored. So that's one thing.

Another is that at least the beginning is going to be watching deadlock so like no socialization before hand, it's like I show up just to see the movie (which is true)

Just go, be fearless. If you feel like you cocked up and made it awkward, just begin again. The feeling of awkwardness is one I know all too well, and I've had many a red face, but learn to get over it and you could have the party of your wildest dreams. You never know, your own little love story could be waiting for you at the party - kick it off in style, just make sure you get home safe and sound. Also, don't get too comfortable if you do meet someone at the party. We all know you belong with me.

Just be charismatic and fun and amazing and irresistible and I'm sure thing will work themselves out

I've watched enough rom coms to know how this works. Stand in the corner listening to music and someone attractive will come over and recognize the song and ask to listen to it with you.

But what if you're at the party?

Sounds easy enough

People do tend to like me for whatever reason
