Street Fighter V |OT| No Options to Select

I'm trying to log out of the servers on my own without the need to wait for the servers to drop or kill my internet, but can't find that option. Help?
 
A lot of people say that Necalli is slow for some reason, so I'll give you guys some context:

Dudley's overhead in sf4 is 15 frames.

Necalli's dash up, cLP is 18 frames.

Most people can't even block Dudley's overhead reliably, stuffing Necalli on reaction to a dash isn't really reasonable.
 
just got my ass handed to me by a Birdie spamming grabbing moves with his chain I will never get good at a fighting game fuck it sticking to local play

I think i just encountered the same guy. Was his name "Hawaiian"? I ended up making him rage quit because I caught him with a CA on his wakeup
 
It would be nice if Survival (at least Normal) had a better curve instead of 1-29 easy as shit 30 Oh, yeah, we forgot the AI can be better than brain dead.

It's just so jarring coasting through the mode watching something else because you don't need to pay attention and then suddenly you get something that can actually fight back.

not the same name the one who I fought had a spanish flag can't believe my ass got handed thats what I get for going online without training
 
saturday, day 5 update: still cant use battle lounge

edit: matchmaking still not popping matches either. Nothing has changed. I dont have the energy to get upset anymore

with you amigo. I manage to get ranked matches every 10 minutes or so but it's still generally bad.

Has anyone else ever lost points for winning a ranked match? I somehow beat this guy that was way above my level and I lost around 140 LP lol

I think it's the heavens' way of telling me to stop focusing on the ranking.
 
I feel sorry for people not getting many matches, I never suffered much of an issue with not getting matches and I managed a nearly 30 match battle lounge without issue.
 
You know I think I've discovered one major benefit of the odd fighter id system, I've yet to have a single person message me to bitch me out for having the audacity to beat them at a vrs game._._
This is fantastic!
 
i dont know why people rage quit in this game, the game doesn't even track w/l ratio. All capcom gotta go do is a -100 LP for rage quit in ranked and that's it.

If they cared enough they can look at your online ID on your fighter profile ;)

But yeah, I like this change because it also doesn't list recently met players on PSN. But I miss getting rage messages sometimes...

Dashes aren't used that much at lower levels of play.
 
Man the game went to shit last night with teleporting and lag. It was like watching a lottery game where 1 of 2 people was expected to win. and no data was saved so the replays were messed up.

Survival should just get a complete overhaul.

- Make mid-match items cost more, but let you pick whatever you want instead of a selection of random bullshit that leaves you with Low Health as your only option for recovery right before the final fight.

- Lower the number of matches, but set the AI to actually fit the difficulty you've chosen. There'd only be 20 normal stages, but they're normal fights. 30 Hard stages, but they're hard fights. Hell can stay the way it is and be there for bragging rights, maybe get lowered to 50.

- Have colors unlock for all costumes regardless of which one you're using.

I don't know about that, but he's slower than he should be for the type of fighter he is, least til he pops Vtrigger.
You can totally feel his grapple was supposed to be better originally I think.
 
I haven't been able to get into a battle lounge yet; question, do you still gain character exp points in battle lounge matches?
 
Offense mainly but im open to hear suggestions for anything

Standing MP, Eagle Kick, Crouching MK, Eagle Kick, there are a few options. I prefer to back off and keep range, though. Keep them out with projectiles until I decide I want to rush in.

On defense, Ex Spinning Mixer is always a good way to get out of jail. People need to learn not to crowd up on a guy in this game, lest they eat a goddamn 70% combo from Ryu or Cammy because they got caught rushing in

Is this a player population issue, or simply the netcode? Both? For those that are worried about the features, I'm positive this will be like night and day this time next year. Capcom are the gold standard when it comes to fighting games.
