I got all the work I was planning to do today done by 6 PM so I went out for a walk but I think I have knee bursitis (semimembranosus bursa icyww) from yesterday's walk somehow so by the end of it my knee was pretty inflamed so back at home I sat down with a frozen gel pack and then binge watched season 1 of Rick & Morty while playing Saints Row III, but I couldn't get the character to look like me so I settled for generic skinny pale-skinned supermodel with blue hair and Laura Bailey's voice because last time I played as Troy Baker and I wanted to switch it up, and then playing the game made me forget that my leg was hurt but it turns out that my leg feels fine in the sitting position, that it's just when standing or walking or extending my leg more than about 115° that the soreness flares up, although even considering all that I'd say it was a pretty good day, so now I'm sitting here and it's almost two in the morning and I'm not really tired but I've already done every different thing I normally do in a day so far today, so I'm not really in the mood for anything, like I don't have a hankering to watch a movie or play a game because I just did four hours of both of that, but I also don't want to draw anymore or wake up my house mates or anything, so I guess I'll probably just browse the internet until drowsiness takes over me and I stop fighting the oncoming of night.

My Phillipino workmate made fried rice and had some in the work fridge for me but forgot to tell me today ;__; I'll get it tuesday, but still...

She brought in a chicken curry which was amazing yesterday.

I just did that -- binge watched most of season 1 the other day.

Hope you have a speedy kneecovery!

Rick & Morty is my therapy. It's so on point almost to absolution of what I need and love. The right balance of absurdism, serious drama, and cleverness.

I find the show generally amusing/entertaining/interesting but rarely were there strong individual "laugh out loud" moments. Would watch season 2 if I could.

I didn't find it that funny either at first but it's really about the underlying themes for me. there's really some great dialogue in there sometimes. (mostly between the jokes) and when you start to appreciate that it also gets funnier imo because you start to relate more. also the absurdness allows some great ways to be creative for the writers
especially season2 has some great moments. this is probably my fav (kinda spoiler-y)
