Thanks for posting the original link. I ended up buying through them on eBay- still a bit more than I wanted to pay but much less than other resellers were asking for, plus the security of eBay's protection in case something goes wrong.

I think someone earlier mentioned that Best Buy doesn't ship on weekends and the ones who haven't received their SE shipping notice have to wait until Monday. Anyway, I went ahead and used my $20 coupon to order a PSN card Saturday night and it went right into preparing for shipping and was shipped today... So there's definitely something fishy going on with the SE.

Pretty sure they never do it publicly . I know a user on a different forum that won the Puzzle and Dragons twitter contest they had. They just send a DM to the winner. The reason I think they do it that way is to prevent people from harassing the winners I guess.

Yea, it's definitely absurd how poorly Best Buy has handled this. Hopefully we get an update this morning but I won't believe anything they say until I have the game in hand at this point.
Personally I'm somewhat doubting we'll actually receive it at this point, but even if we do they owe us and have some serious damage control or they risk losing a lot of their GCU, My Best Buy Elite, and/or Elie Plus members who spend a decent amount of money at Best Buy.
Edit: Forgot to mention mine went from preparing to ship to backordered! Of course I was promised on Friday they had my copy and it would definitely ship!

Mine is still prepping but I'm sure it's not that far behind. If it ultimately gets canceled after that email and a rep assuring it was on its way, I'm demanding a standard version and both DLC copies free as compensation.

That's still not enough to satisfy me after the way this has been handled. This is one of my favorite franchises and I want this version in my collection so it looks like I may have no other choice but to buy a copy in eBay.
We were one of the first pre-orders and we aren't going to get a copy because Best Buy sold and shipped our copy on eBay? To make matters worse we could have tried to locate another copy to buy but I have been assured, on multiple occasions, by multiple people at Best Buy, that everyone had a copy and that it would ship out each day since release. We have been given multiple excuses when we called but they have done nothing to communicate what is actually going on.
This is absolutely ridiculous regardless of whether we end up getting a copy at some point in the future. Best Buy screwed this up beyond belief and I'm not sure there is much they can do to make it right.
Some did and some didn't. Doesn't seem to matter from what I've seen. For what ever reason we are just the unlucky ones Best Buy screwed.

Yep, this is completely ridiculous. I'm going to be calling, emailing, and posting on their forums again. It's mind blowing how horrible this has been handled. I know it's not the phone reps fault and unfortunately they are the ones that have to deal with it. I'm as mad as anyone, but I hope people remember that the Support Reps are just providing us with the information they have been given. The real problem is somewhere within the Best Buy management team.

FYI Just checked again and now it shows Preparing to ship again. Who knows what is going on.

I spoke with a CSR again this morning and he said that the .com warehouse didn't receive the full ordered allocation of SE units from Nintendo. Hence why they are in preparation limbo. Once those units arrive, they will ship out.
Not sure how accurate it is, but given the delays with Amazon and other BB web orders, it makes a little sense.

Well my order is getting ready to ship from Amazon. I doubt I will get that shipping speed buff but I guess I can rest a little easier now.
That being said, I definitely recalled how Best Buy handled things like Amiibos, and LEs before. So while amiibos are safe for order now, BBs handling of stuff like this (and my CC expires this year) prevented me from pre-ordering there.

Got mine today and sort thought and hoped it would be in good condition as the bubble was not flattened bu fuck me. The edges were destroyed. I absolutely cannot take it any more. I'm paying close to $100 for these damn CE's and BestBuy routinely gives shit how they ship them to me. Always in fucking bubble envelopes. I would rather it be in pristine condition than the $20 they gave everyone a few days ago. Fuck.

I did the "update shipping" trick on Friday, ordered the SE from Best Buy on 11/12/16 as soon as I was able to, I have GCU, and just got "backordered" update on my order.
Man fuck Best Buy. As a poster above said, it's bullshit that they honored those eBay orders before ours. What a crock of shit.
