yeah you need to be connected for at least the first time after you put in the code.
Yeah, it should show up once you connected to the server once. Whenever the next opportunity to do so might be.

Really, I think they need to compensate earlier adopters after this shit show. This is ridiculous, they should give us hot ryu ou another skin for free for the fucking disgrace they created, since the offline content is zero. I can't do anything other than training mode since I will not be able to get fight money or anything. Fuuuuucckkk

Yeah I look at every mode and think i'm wasting FM buy not being online and doing them. Capcom will likely give us a few free costumes/colours but I doubt they will be premium.

Of course they weren't using the final version of the game, they were balancing it through the betas. They said as such. Characters changed over the course of the beta, that's what they were for.
If they were ever called stress tests, it was either for the combat or their network guys thought the preorder numbers were indicative of launch sales. Which would be insane. Considering what we're seeing, maybe the latter is true! I'm just as put out as everyone else, I can't play the game I payed for.
I'd rather play something else than VS CPU or arcade mode.
