She's super fun though, and frame traps the heck out of u.
And worse character still might not be bad, very balanced game IMO. No one is OP even Chun and Bison and Vega
It's weirdly strict in this game, SF4 was much more lenient. I have two combos where I actually do qcf+360°+p and it works every time.
She's a reset and stun monster, not that easy to play.
Does Karin have more hubby related titles? Everyone uses Perfect Hubby :C
There should only be one perfect hubby for Karin, and that's me. I'm using something Heroine? Can't quite recall right now, didn't use a title until now, and I set it just before going to sleep. I wish you could just hide the title, but since there will always be something on screen anyway, might as well choose one. I even got an achievement, haha.

Personally, I feel like she's the character with the highest execution requirement in the game. An expertly played Laura that's in your face is even more scary than a Necalli in the same position.
Though I can certainly see how some might think her to be not so good. She requires a certain type of playstyle that a small percentage of people are fond of playing.

I'm still using the Karin title for 15 win streak.
for Bison, just do nonstop cross ups as he's waking up. The AI will constantly try to c.HP to anti air but it will miss every time and you'll get full combo punishes.

Lots of people on FB saying ragequitters are a problem. I don't care about points all that much but tbh as long as we don't have sensible lobbies it is hard to actually practice online. On top of this, the lack of latency is really highlighting the lack of fundamentals that many online players have, and due to the best of one format a lot of people are forming bad habits that lead to dice rolls not in their favour (e.g. jumping at Birdie). I'd prefer to invite a few players I know to a lobby to discuss things as we play but 1v1 lobbies kinda limits conversations.
I hope they patch in a ragequitter hell and DC percentage info on the accept a fight screen next to the PIN, or a way of filtering out people with higher than a certain DC percentage in the last twenty matches or so.

Btw, do you have a youtube channel with some replays? I'd like to watch some matches to see if I learn anything. This might just be me being arrogant, but I feel like most "pro Karins" I see kinda don't know how to play her. They keep using her unsafe as fuck specials randomly or canceling c.MK into QCB HK on block.
I'm sure they have far better fundamentals than I do, and that's why they win, but even Sako missing instant Tenkos? Really? Sako?

The thing is they're probably beginners too but have they have an edge on you that's a lot bigger than it seems. Play casual first so you've got a no stress environment to mess around in. The most important lesson to learn when starting a fighter is how to not get hit. I'm going to hazard a guess that you saw a fair few heavy uppercuts in your excursion in ranked. With a little bit of practice in defense you can punish those so hard its comical. Patience and situational awareness are the things you need to build up and that takes a bit of time and commitment. Not a whole lot to blow up other newbies but you gotta do your due diligence

As usual their redbull cans magically have infinite refill and are never empty. 250ml per can and they drink from it like 1000 times in one hour. I'm more interested in redbull can technology than anything else. Maybe it's the same technology that Birdie uses to pull donuts/cans/bananas out of his ass?

And yet Snake Eyes just won WNF with Zangief last week. Zangief is definitely different from SF4 but he is no way worse. Some would make the argument he's slightly better.
None of that invalidates what I have said. Justin won a regional with Dan in sf4.
Bottom tier does not always imply worthless or unviable

Honestly, while I think it's a bit too early to call anyone bottom tier (top tier is usually decided within a week or so though), Zangief hasn't suddenly lost any of the problems he already had.
He still has to manually get in on his opponents, and he's still a relatively slow character. That will always be the case for him. But his V-Skill allows him to slowly but surely make some distance towards the enemy. And if he's absorbed a little too much with his V-Skill, then he gets his V-Trigger which increases his deadliness by like tenfold since he can force the enemy to come to him.
In terms of matchups, Dhalsim and FANG are the ones that are arguably the worst for him I feel.
I don't think he belongs in the bottom tier though since Zangief has never had the amount of players behind him that characters like Ryu or Chun have had. But I still think that those who prefer him and his general playstyle will agree that he at least isn't bottom-tier.

I feel like this game is balanced well enough (at least at this moment in the game's life) to make it so people need to divorce from the idea that bottom tier = bad.
I was reluctant to agree with people claiming Ken is low tier, because I thought he was really good. But thinking about it, I can't think of many characters that I'd rank lower than Ken. He might actually be low tier, but that doesn't mean he's not really good still.

Exactly, only certain matchups favour certain characters more, but other than that it really does come down to the player's skill level and understanding more than it does their characters.
