His EX circle kick thing maybe? Otherwise, nope, join the club, we have tears and wine
Character that have such good mobility like that would be very strong if you couldn't bully them on wake up. Nash can move around the ground with his normals and Vtrigger second to none pretty much.

Dude when are u gonna chill with the concern posting? Player base is fine and growing, come back in 6 months if you're not down for the woes of launch period.

for someone that apparently plays the game (?) he sure posts that its dead and capcom is dead and figthers are dead doesnt he? :p

Also Omni, our session wasnt completely pointless, I discovered Gief eats fireballs with his headbut, so theres that I guess

So can we definitely get all the DLC characters through single player mode fight money or no? I'm seriously considering biting the bullet and playing the entirety of survival mode this weekend if so.

Well, maybe just Sunday.

lol yeah I love the game and want it too succeed, but it's painfully obvious why it started off slow. Sheesh...

But yeah, have u chosen to main him or Mika? You should definitely focus on one or two characters.

I love the current Story Mode. Takes like 10 minutes to beat and gives you a free character. I hope you can skip everything in the cinematic story as well to get another one.

ggs, Morris. Those hit confirms were real. It's a lot harder getting in on Nash than I thought it'd be. None of Necalli's anti-zoning tools work that well against sonic booms, and his mid-range normals are scary as hell.

Can anybody share a nice Ken V-trigger combo? I have the following one at the moment, don't mind the reset. Just wondering if there is something better I could be doing with a one bar combo?

Ken V-trigger combo

Think I'm like 0-20 right now. Nothing is working with Mika....Feel like I'm missing something ultra important. I never get to properly punish anyone. Meanwhile, everyone will punish me with huge combo's every time I make a slight mistake
Watch other Mikas like SixFortyFive or that one Mika that's in the top 5 rankings.

In fact, Capcom's already doing it on their youtube channel:https://www.youtube.com/user/CapcomSF/videos

Unfortunate these guides are only good for people brand new to street fighter and fighting games in general. A lot of the information they're giving they don't even provide a video demonstration for it so unless someone has experience with the game and character already a lot of the concepts are going to go over their heads.

Not sure if it's better, but you can do either of his target combos, or well here's teh longest variant:

Jump in HK, cr mp, Back MP HP target, hold V skill to get step kick, cancel to V trigger, mash out Ex Shoryu.

dude why do you keep saying Mika. I didnt use Mika at all lol. It was Nec, Gief and Rashid :p

Ive been mostly rocking Nec, I even kind got a combo down with him and everything ;_;

Nice! Thanks for sharing, seems like a meaty combo. I'm in training mode now so I'll get it down :)

Yea I really liked this format, and Mika, Gief, and Birdie was funny!

Lol...I dunno you can't help but be disappointed at Capxom here. They have the lore to tell a great story, they have a hungry base for quality fighting games, I don't understand why they couldn't please both sides here?

How many successful early access stories have there been this gen? The suits at Capcom had to influence this decision.

An early access $40 digital only release would have served the FGC and casuals who wanted to jump in early well. Then release the retail for $60 in June. I came up with that in a few hours. And the story segment here are good enough to make a light Arcade mode and have V-triggered Bison and V-Triggered Necalli at the end of fighting all characters for two rounds. Lol, someone is pretty stupid over there, or this initial light negative launch really won't matter year 2, year 3. So SFV is basically an annual release where it doesn't matter what year u jump in? That's the only logic I can come up with for Capcom not to care about the obvious negative reaction from fans.

On a lighter note, what is Diago's name online? I found Momochi (Shinobism114) or something he's in my favorite.

You just contradicted yourself with your sentences... The guides are good for people that are new to SF and FGs but if they're new the concepts will go over their head? So they're bad?

Already watched replays of ebar. But emulating him really isnt doing anything to help me. I just cant get in on people. When i try I get a boot or fireball in the face. In general what o see other mika players do, i cant get to work

I think i played vs your cammy online yesterday, are you that one Trickster from england?

Nah Im from Denmark and use the name scwasp in sf5

GGs Yo Tornado. How was the connection for you? was kinda shitty but playable for me.

I noticed you weren't really cancelling into super when you had a full stock, you should work on that, I could have been feeling the fear of god tbh.

Super is also a good tool for stopping fireballs mid range. Necalli's charge punishes any fireball long range but you were getting impatient and sometimes you threw them randomly, you should react to the fireball startup, Nash fireballs actually have a ton of startup but recover super fast.

This matchup really is about getting me in the corner and going ham, don't be afraid of pressuring with meaties, Nash can't reversal you unless he hits you with a yolo super. I also noticed you were pressuring with st LP in the corner but you weren't punishing my v-reversals, you can punish those with a grab after you opponent tries to v-reversal off a LP, just make sure to grab as soon as you see the light pop out.

Are you playing good players or bad? If they're bad, you can just tactic them to death. If they're good, you're going to have to be absolutely on point with your spacing (walk instead of dash, vary your jumps between neutral and forward and WAP, etc). In her current state she is not very easy to win with, in my opinion/experience.

The connection started out fine, but it got worse from the second set on. I could definitely feel it.

Yeah, I tried getting some meaty setups going, but the only time I really got knockdowns was with light command grab, and that essentially resets the neutral so that's a no-go. I was trying to go for lows on your wakeup since I know Nash's EX somersault is only upper body but you weren't biting. Super cancelling is a big issue on my part. Hit confirming always has been. And honestly, a lot of those charges weren't intentional. I have a bad habit of trying to inch forward and jab or st.mp and forgetting I was holding a charge, lol. But yeah we'll have to play again sometime.
