That video is cringe though. Couldn't they announce them normally?
Killer roster. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do with C-Viper cuz her kit in SF4 was a bit... hm, how should I say it... limited and not so interesting.
By limited I mean her move set and stuff she can do in comparison to other and more complex characters. As a C.Viper player that still playing USF4, her kit is far from limited.

They upgraded her or somethin' from base SF4? I don't remember her kit being interesting and diverse enough in the base version. Same goes for Rose and her kit actually. I have't played USF4, cuz by that time I was done with SF4.
Don't like Rufus, but thankfully he's not in SF6Many of the new characters have far more kit than the original cast. Rufus, C.Viper, Abel.
To no one's surprise. Ryu is the easiest character to learn and use and he always has been, just like Ken.Is the only way for Capcom to sell new players are Ryu and Chun-li still vasty popular members of the game.
I hope they'll have more to her kit this time other than shock, meaning more and diverse kinds of moves she can do to not always rely on shock and be viable both on the ground and in the air. I'm not a pro, but I played SF4 A LOT back in the day and almost unlocked all of the achievements. I mean, I like her design, but I just don't like her kit from SF4 that much on the base level and it's fine, not every character's kit can be liked by everyone. Her shock for example, Ryu uppercut just gets stronger and slower as you use different kinds of punchs(low, mid, high), as for C.viper you get normal shock, lower shock and anti-air shock.
She always had a vast kit in comparison to other players, not to mention she have the higher jump of the entire game. She can cast cancel her own moves, cancel after-delay moves by fake trigger moves. I mean, most of the pro C.Viper players go nuts with her.
I would classify her as the most hard character to proper use in the entire game.
She is the most complex character . There's no character than can do cr.lk cancel feint , cr.mp cancel feint , cr.lk cancel feint and then a sudden launch burn kick that crosses up . She has a feint cancel into super jump that reach opponent everywhere in the screen , yes including point blank . Her burn kick can be canceled in every jump directions or from blocked jump attack which has insane mixup potential . Her cr.HP cancel feint cr.HP ex seismo super jump burn kick into ultra is probably one of the most damaging combo in the game with a single EX meter. She can also choose to sweep from that combo for oki . She also has a meterless DP that trades into ultra with counter hit . She can do all these in the vanilla version if I'm not mistaken , I don't remember every nuance but I have a friend that plays her in tournament level so I know how insane this character could be . Her only weakness was her wake up option and her burn kick can be dodged with low forward , but the latter can easily be faked .By limited I mean her move set and stuff she can do in comparison to other and more complex characters.

Completely different game styles, even if they're the same genre. SF6 won't feel anything if Tokon is successful, the same happened with SFV and DBFZ and god was SFV bad even.I have a suspicion that Marvel Tokon is going to eat SF6's lunch.
I wonder if they'll have a similar cadence of 4 characters per season. I feel like there's so much more that they can do with Marvel characters and with Sony and Marvel backing I wonder if they'll push characters out faster knowing that they have a larger roster of relevant characters to work with or just stick with the standard model. I think Mortal Kombat does 3 MK characters and 3 guest characters.
I feel like you could get to 80 characters within this game platform over the next 5 years or so.

If you know anything about the FGC you'd know there's very little overlap between subgenres. SF6 plays very differently from an hyper fighter, you can play both and be just fine, most people will prefer one or the other though and stick to them.If you don't think there's some level of crossover in the FGC, I'm not sure what to tell you here...

Watch how Latif play and you might start wondering if this character can do everything , she needs insane execution to really unlock her . Her kit only felt basic for someone that can't execute it , and probably only the top 5% of SF players could .

This is just history, SF4 and MvC3U coexisted just fine.
I think she's fun to play but I can't stand her design or her character in general. That being said, I think I mainly just hated her being introduced to SF in IV as she just didn't seem to fit as a SF character to me, but I've accepted that, as a franchise, it's changed a great deal but I still love it and I'm actually somewhat excited to try her now. Then again, I'm no technical player, definitely nowhere near as good as most folks who really take winning seriously, (I just enjoy playing casually), so how she actually plays, as far as competitive viability, is always going to be far less interesting than how fun she is to play and how good her design is. For reference, I'm a Guile main, (scrub city here and proud of it), and I've also adores Alex and Sagat in the past titles, I've also mained Bison, Ken, and Akuma in past titles, and I've mained Terry and Mai in KoF and Terry in Garou, so the roster is kind of becoming my ideal roster now lol, so I'm pretty pumped. All we're missing now for characters I've gotten decent with in the past is Hugo and Cody, neither of which I expect to see hit VI, and I'm fine with it.Yes C Viper is pretty amazing and was the best of the new SF4 characters in terms of gameplay. Technical and interesting and I was wanting to see her come back throughout SFV but it never happened.
I don't believe this for a second lol, but keep doing you.but I assure you we'll see a big drop in SF6 players by the end of the spring next year as a result of Tokon.
Please don't talk. You like video games. lolThat wrestling shit is a huge turn off
wtf was even that ?
