cr. mp st lk lariat

if in v-trigger
cr. lp. crlp st. lk. > suck them in and hit them

the old v-trigger into ex air spd

plus super combos so anything plus within range > super

aside from that not much
Nice, thanks. Can ya tell me how much his V-Skill can absorb? Is it based off no. of hits or amount of damage?

I cannot disagree with you more.
Karin's story mode costume does nothing to show you the divide in your class!

Her normal costume, absolutely...
Story mode though? No way, it looks very common place, not befitting of such an important person as defined by her socioeconomic status.

It's a statement. She can wear pleb clothes and still beat your ass.

No, but really, I see where you're coming from. Something was definitely lost when translating from 2D to 3D, it looks a lot classier in the 2D art.

Still, I love it. She's cute, that's all that matters.

Lol Ken can combo his super off a whirlwind kick, jeeeez that execution barrier is freaking non existant. Dude gets sooooo much time to line it up..

Number of hits. It will take 2 hits before breaking outside V-Trigger. In V-Trigger it will absorb up to 100 hits (so essentially unlimited), though I think CAs break armor.

It requires a point blank tatsu that he either took a risk or combo'd into. Ken really isn't as easy to use at a high level as you might think.

Can I ask a dumb question?

I really want to play this but I can't find a damn fight stick locally. My ordered one isn't coming until April. I haven't played SF since probably SF2 but really wanted to experience it the "correct" way.

Worth just jumping in with a regular controller or just waiting?

Yes. Learning combos and techniques in general is like 99% learning the timing, so transitioning from pad to stick and back is easy.

Well you'll learn the system and the game is perfectly playable on a pad. The only issue is you'll have to relearn your execution when you get the stick if you've never used one before.

Also april? Man, that's a long amount of time for an online order.

There is no correct way. Just play whatever feels most comfortable. Pad is absolutly fine, there are pros winning tournaments on pad.

I'm sure he isn't. But getting that much time to get ready to do super just seems kinda lame as someone without that kinda of luxury

Really?
Just play on your pad dude.

Yah Amazon and Mad Catz store both sold out. :-(

Just play pad or cancel the stick and get a HRAP4 Hayabusa if you don't want to play without a stick.

Have you tried ordering from Mad Catz directly? The wait time was shorter.

Also I found that a bunch of gamestops had http://www.gamestop.com/accessories/real-arcade-pro-4-kai-for-playstation-4-and-playstation-3/121015

available locally. I did find a madcatz stick at a gamestop that someone never picked up.

I can't figure out how to do V-reversal, shit I read says 3 punches and forwards. But doing that doesn't work, neither does backwards

Finally made it to Ultra Bronze without anyone GootecksShimmy-ing me.

Had the day off today, noticed the competition is a LOT easier in general playing around now (2pm-ish PST) compared to when I usually play (8-10pm-ish PST).

Super serious question:
When you pronounce "Gief" do you pronounce it "Geef" or "Gee-eff" or God forbid "Jeef"?
Gee-eff, like in the game. For me 'ef' (or rather.. '-ev') sounds Russian/Slavic to me. (For example former prime minister Medvedev, or wwe name Rusev, real name Barnyashev), -Eef doesn't. I'm not a Russia expert, but do names ending with 'eef/eev' exist in Russia?

Edit: Nooooo... :( English is not my first language. Example.. example...

Hahahahahaha oh man when you spelled it "exemple", I read your entire post in a Russian accent. :)

Jesus effing christ, how do you get out of the FANG vortex? Can't fucking see a thing because his clothes is so big and flaps all over the goddamn screen

And so fucking weak one combo can stun you. And she's got the least of hp in the game.

Yeah. I'm maining Cammy and this is the problem I'm facing (I'm not very good). She always loses if she trades with her opponent, and it's giving me a really hard time against defensive players. Any tips would be appreciated.

Man, just had a match with a guy with CRAZY terrible rollback. Fucking hell. I still won, but fuck that was annoying to have my V-trigger constantly rollback.
