People rage quit in casuals as well .. in fact, the only quit I've gotten was in a casual match.
Would just buying a long LAN cable be preferable to the wall adapters? I haven't played online yet (partially because I'm nervous) and was thinking of getting one before I hop on. In the mean time I just finished story mode and survival on easy + normal with one character and will attempt hard.

Casual matches are pretty boring in my experience. People also don't play as aggressively as ranked and the wait times are longer since there is nothing to lose. I prefer to use battle lounge if all I want is experience with a character.

I would think so, yes, but from what I hear wall adapters are usually fine if a cable isn't practical. And don't be afraid of going online. While I know and understand the feeling, you'll find that it is so much more fun than playing bots, even when you lose. You could also try to find some other people at your level in this thread, and run a lounge with them. That's a lot less stressful, IMO.
Really? I got a ratio of 5-10 ranked matches for every casual match, so I just stopped looking for casual matches.

I'd like to see some numbers by the people who have been claiming that though. I do have a CronousMax though (adds about 1ms of input lag) so I could maybe try making it work with that if there are too many issues with the PS3 driver in SFV.

Guess by holding up in some direction during the blockstring. It's a bad situation all around for non-dp characters so you shouldn't let him jump in basically

MK for distance, HK if you have the jump on them. LP if you want to tap them out or want to go for a follow up throw.

So I went back some pages and read about another GAF'er getting blown up for quitting. Which reminds me yesterday that I quit a game because it was teleport city. Today I did it again, against a 2800 LP Laura. The game started off fine and I was holding a life lead until it went to hell. We both went to our end of the screen and started jabbing it out to see if it would go away. It didn't and only got worse, it turned into teleport city. I ended up losing the 1st round.
I had a 7 game win streak at the moment and thought I would look like a rage quitter if I did quit. So I played out the 2nd round, if I lose, I'll just accept the lost. If I win the 2nd round, we're even and lets just get the fuck out of here without anyone having to blame this lost on lag. I won the 2nd round and bailed before the 3rd round even started. I even messaged the guy to let him know I did it on purpose. If he wants to call me a rage quitter than I hope he includes the video with it so everybody can see how bad it was.
Basically what are you feelings on quitting a game that is that laggy? Understandable or am I still full of rage?

In 3 straight days of Ranked matches, I have had only 1 rage quit. Even more ironic is that I used FANG for the majority of those matches. Thing is, I play in small chunks, usually 2-3 hours at a time, so I have just been lucky probably due to a small sample size.

Story mode though? No way, it looks very common place, not befitting of such an important person as defined by her socioeconomic status.
