err just had the strangest match against a Laura. didnt move so i assumed she was afk, so I didnt attack, i jabbed the air and jumped in place because im a gentleman. then she started jumping and I assumed he wasnt afk again so went in. didnt block anything, I had a perfect. Next round same thing, I didnt waste time this time so i just beat him fast. Then I noticed he went down to brozne from the loss.

For the love of god help lol.
In the 200 matches I've played I've never played more than 2-3 R Mikas but I feel likes she was built to destroy me.
Any advice? I'm usually good against every character but she's been the only one I feel a legitimate threat against. It's like every move she has gives her armor.

Who are you using as a character? You really have to zone her out and frame trap her when you get the opportunity to succeed.
The amount of times I see Kens just randomly throw it out there is astronomical.

Wouldn't be he first time I've seen it. Some people do it because they aren't ready for the match ups at that level. In MVC 3 if I got past higher than 4th lord the match ups were far beyond my level for the most.
I eventually found myself just matching up against my skill level.

Game's fun! After a lot of Laura'ing I now settled for Karin. Sitting at 900ish points in Ranked, which is more than I expected like 2 days ago lol. And finally managed to beat normal Survival oh god. Pure luck and cheese, punched my desk so hard when Bison fell. That sweet pink Karin outfit is worth it though.

Also, just beat a ultra bronze Birdie with a 10 win streak and guess what happened...
...nothing. I won. He took the L. I was genuily shocked lol. I am going to call it a night on that one, I shall not tempt the fates anymore tonight >_<

Nash and Ryu. Ryu I've found easier because of his crush counters and target combos and Nash is ok for me because of tragedy assault being able to pin her down.

I'm trying with Ken (who is my main) but that shit is so unfair. The randomness of the *deals* that you get just makes it worse.
My fightstick doesn't have a headphone jack which is really annoying. Also just learned PS4 doesn't support bluetooth headsets, wtf.
So is there anyway I can talk to my friend while playing this game? Anyone know of a work around I can do like use a second controller for party chat?

Yeah, you can sign into a different profile with your DS4 and join party chat with your friend. You can use any pair of microphone headphones as a mic with DS4.

So...I'm rank 22k, wake up the next morning and I'm 20k. Win a couple of matches and I'm 18k, go to training for 30 minutes and I'm 19k. I decide to go to the ranking leaderboards and they have me with lower LP than what I actually have...

Does the second profile have to have PS+ ? Because I tried to sign into a 2nd player local profile and it wouldn't allow that profile to join the party.
The ranking server updates at intervals right now, so it's always a bit outdated.

I just tried everyting as Karin.
On its way up almost all my air-to-airs beat it clean, on its way down it usually beats me.
EX stomp only loses to jump back mp, though.
Anti-air st.hp works, but it's tough.
