_/¯What delusion? If it happens or not it doesn't change anything to me, but seeing the quality of the "leak" presented early on this thread I'd rather not take it for granted until it's confirmed, just like with any "leak" related to NX.

They should just show some obscure concept art at the end of the presentation for 5 seconds that no one can make heads or tails of and it actually ends up being the main storyline hook for Zelda Wii U.

Nintendo Directs don't leak like that.
Usually bits and pieces of it will leak because third parties accidentally upload trailers too early, or reveal something.
And one time the Direct went up too early in some country, but it was only a "leak" of about 15 minutes.
A list of "this stuff is in the Direct!" is likely to not be true at all.
The leak with Zelda NX was basically confirmed when Pokemon Moon/Sun were revealed.
That's not comparable to the blurry low res screenshot of a folder.

Excited for it but not expecting anything amazing.
The thing with the n1ntendo leak is that they usually don't post rumours. And someone on their forum said there would be a Direct later this week before Nintendo announced it themselves. I'd take it with a grain of salt too, but there's a tiny chance it could be real. I don't see them 'leaking' this without checking their source.

If we are talking about the same things, it was Nintendo Digital Event 2015 and, yes, it was aired 15 minutes before everyone else's. The thing was pulled out really quick, the only stuff that was leaked was puppet Iwata.
Especially with no mentions of Pokken who releases in two weeks. But choo-choo anyway !

Random gaffer gives info that corresponds with existing rumor after said rumor has been out for a bit is not proof of it being real at all

Well, fair enough, LOL. Still, this leak does look way more reputable than our usual stuff, so I believe it.
Pretty sure MH will crosss over with... everything, eventually.

I'm not convinced since it's too focused on first party stuff (and there are a number of 3rd party 3ds titles on the way that we know of) and some parts like adding a new 3ds vc option seem really odd

Why? New VC platform announces had their own spot in Nintendo Directs quite often. Downloadable Wii titles, N64 + DS Wii U VC... I mean, they even had Shibata rapping DK Rap for the last one!

monster hunter has done costumes from a few random nintendo franchises as dlc. it was probably intended to be read as dlc like that for FE, though my cynical heart still assumes that's a fake leak.

There's still New 3DS to support to some extent. DSi wasn't dropped when 3DS came out.
