Anyone else hate leaks of things happening in a day? :/ Just seems bad form and they`re a bit hard to avoid, like the thread about MH Generations.

Hopefully there's enough new stuff in the Direct. MHG and the potential SNES on 3DS VC is great but not actually "new" at all in a sense (the VC is more new but not... all-new you know? ).

The next Nintendo Direct will be announced 5 mins before it start to prevent leaks

So far Nintendo publishes Monster Hunter in Europe, Capcom publishes in Japan and NA. Sincd that was an NOA leak, yeah, Torte City is probably something else.

I don't think I've ever in my life seen such a quick sequel announcement. They have to still have plans to get revenue out of the original, announcing Yo-Kai 2 now would be a terrible move.

They do, but YO-KAI WATCH has already got its Season 2 toys revealed and Season 2 of the anime is coming this summer just recently. And if Torte City isn't YO-KAI WATCH 2, I'd be slightly shocked.

- There may be additional games in the Direct. The 'Main Presentation' folder may include transnational news for all three regions

This is a Europe-specific list. Yo-Kai Watch isn't out here until next month, and the Direct was promoted here with a picture of Shibata wearing a Yo-Kai Watch.

If the leak is indeed correct and/or it appears, I wonder how they will market it and from what angle. It is going to take a lot of marketing power, on Nintendo's part, to overcome the large negativity which surrounded the initial announcement.

Yeah I wouldn't mind nice Amiibo for each of cast members but I'd wager a guess that they're happy with the two Smash Amiibo representing the crew and doing a Amiibo of a vehicle. I heard that Falco isn't flying off shelves either but that might just be an EU thing.

The only known NX Platform leak from a verified source was the Zelda U leak, but that's only because of a mention about reallocating the advertising budget to the NX version of Zelda U.

Fingers crossed they might have dumped the chibi design/improved the graphics...and included a 3D port of the original Metroid Prime. 8-9 months more dev time should have improved things, although given the limitations of the 3DS, I don't know why it wasn't a Wii U title in the first place (with the 3DS getting a sidescroller instead).

it's not impossible we get a western release date. rather, an american one, if that leak is for the EU. It wouldn't be a worldwide announcement since japan got #fe already;

I swear the Tomodachi Life and Mario Kart 8 Directs from 2 years ago were uploaded in their entirety completely out of nowhere. No livestream, no prior announcement, just pure stealth releases.
