Nintendo Direct: new presentation announced for tomorrow

Finally for NOA and NOE
maxresdefault.jpg

It is day 3 of the month 3 ....

Ah that's different, but even then I don't see why it couldn't happen on Wii U too, or VC games on regular 3DS... We might be reading too much on what it appears to be a leak.

If they are letting us transfer all Wii-U VC games to the NX, I am doing my Wii to Wii-U system transfer tomorrow night!

SNES games have it I believe.

Wii U VC games also have input lag on the Gamepad.

Huh, could've sworn that most SNES games didn't have it, or at least it wasn't anywhere near as extreme as it is on NES and N64. Could be wrong, though.

I've certainly noticed the input lag, though I've never seen it be so much of an issue to hinder my play, thankfully. Definitely something to fix in the future, though. Seems odd the Gamepad would have that lag, though.

The input lag's been there from the beginning. 100% noticeable if you try to post a Miiverse screen with moving objects/variables on-screen, since it gives you options on which Screen you want to post.

In terms of filtering and such I think they made some graphical changes in SNES games for example in SMW certain colors are a little different on the Wii/Wii U release of SMRPG they altered some textures and effects a little(think of Static E and Flame Wall).

Guys, I got the hottest scoopz on tomorrow's Nintendo Direct. My source has been right 239% in the past, future, and present, plus sub-present. You can count on this as being the real deal*.

Yarn Wario announced. Every input requires you to touch the included Yarn Wario or Waluigi included with each purchase to the GamePad's NFC point. Features classic Wario wah-ha-ha gameplay.
Urban Champion Worlds revealed. It's a remake of the original Urban Champion but in full HD on Wii U. Of course.
Virtual Boy on Virtual Console. Only for the Wii VC. On the original Wii. Sorry.
Startropics Fever, a F2P Startropics puzzle game. Help Mike or whatever his name was slove a puzzle while aliens make banana jokes or something. 3DS exclusive.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force is shown.
Looksley's Line Up x Stunt Race FX shown to the public. After nearly ten years in the making, the crossover of the century makes its debut. I want to keep this one extra secret because I know how many people are excited for this.
Yarn Yoshi's Story because there are not enough yarn games already. Game Boy Lite exclusive.
MyNintendo turns out to be exactly the same as the old MyNintendo on Nintendo Power's website. Have fun downloading desktop wallpapers and screensavers for the newest upcoming hot games, like Startropics Fever.
Game Boy Printer is back! We don't know why - but it's back!
Rusty's Real Deal Golfing displayed in its purest form. This beauty has Rusty returning to sell you overpriced minigames that you can haggle down to hit the green. Over twenty new playable characters and maybe some Miiverse stamps. We are very indecisive here at Nintendo! To tell you the truth I
really want this.

So there you go, guys. Somebody call a plumber because these leaks are coming from all over the place. Nintendo might as well cancel their little Direct show because now everybody has the hottest scoopz.

*Not real at all

I would do very bad things for a new wario platformer, even if it were a yarn one.

there was never a specified time as far as I've heard in regards to the rumors.

Besides launching mother 3 on 3/3 would be cool.

Hmm, could have sword it was specifically stated to be June, but it's very plausible I completely made that up hahah.

Definitely would be cool to see it tomorrow though, given that it's also my birthday haha.

Same thing happened with Earthbound. I just beat it, and then the next week it was released as a VC title. I Still bought it, but like damn.

Why are you playing Mother games after they're announced or rumored to come to Virtual Console :P?

Oh wow, lol. I didn't realize it was that bad. I'll have to try that out myself.

Yeah, I've heard of a few minor changes here are there in certain games, but I never noticed a dark filter across the board like games for NES/N64. I'd prefer those graphical changes weren't made, but they don't distract me and I can tolerate them far more than really dark N64 games.

The only SNES games that I have notice that have the dark filter are, oddly enough, the SNES Kirby games. Outside from that, most of the SNES Virtual Console games that have been released on the Wii & Wii U don't have the filter.

I started genuinely expecting dissapointment after E3 2015, and I have been dissapointed since then. I have no reason to believe it will get better until the NX reveal at E3 or a little before when they might finally decide to show some more Zelda, a Metroid title with Samus, an adventure Mario, an Animal Crossing, or a new IP. I really can't imagine what they could possibly be showing in this direct we don't already know about. The one hope I have is for some reason they decide to show some Zelda despite them not announcing it as cross-platform yet, and even though it's been almost two years since we've really seen anything that wasn't Link on a horse in some grass and the game was originally supposed to come out last year, it's depressingly unrealistic to expect any news whatsoever on the project.

This is an Angry Kirby conspiracy to make his games seem darker.

Weird. I don't think Kirby is really much more colorful than games like Mario World or Earthbound or what have you. But I haven't played Super Star or Dreamland 3, so maybe they are/and or have some more colorful effects that I'm unaware of.

This is an Angry Kirby conspiracy to make his games seem darker.

Actually, this seems like the more logical explanation.

True. That last show at E3 last year REALLY hurt Nintendo in every aspects. I haven't been genuinely hyped for a Nintendo show since then. It's not like they've been doing lot's of presentations or Directs since then anyway. I still have those flashbacks when I saw HD footage of Animal Crossing hoping it'll be a full new AC like New Leaf only to see seconds later it was just a shitty spin-off board game. It's like Nintendo was playing with us. So awful.

To be fair, we areretty much at the end for the 3DS and WiiU. They will see a final round of AAA first party games this fall, but pretty much nothing until then.

You're right. Pokemon Sun/Moon and Zelda Wii U/NX are the only games I care about for Nintendo this year, respectively. Looks like it'll be a good swan song for both platforms.

The 2014 one was the best they had in several years, but you see how it's, it didn't really change their fortunes.

A Mother 3 announcement would be great, I just picked up Earthbound not too long ago. Definitely give me time to finish that game up. Maybe not 10 years's worth of time like those waiting for a localization from the very beginning, but still.

The leaks are ultimately Nintendo's own fault, if they dont give a date for the NX reveal soon, shit is just going to get worse, people are thirsty for information on the thing.

Someone said this pages back and I don't feel like digging it up, but why is Monster Hunter Generations a "perfect" title for the localization? I thought it was just a more actiony MH game

That leak is apparently legit.

So Monster Hunter Generations (X), Star Fox Zero, Metroid Federation Force, SNES games on n3DS VC...at the very least.

Why exactly is this leak considered legit? There are always some 'leaks' before a Direct that never turn out true.

It's at least suspicious Disney Art Academy is not present in the leak, unless it doesn't release in Europe this Spring which I find weird. Remember that Disney Art Academy leaked through a retailer and was confirmed by another verified source.

Or alternatively that leak only covers the Europe-only part of the direct. Most WW directs are split into two parts, a worldwide part which is broadcast on every stream and then a regional part which is only broadcast on one stream.

SNES games for N3DS would be cool of they were ties to your account and you could also play them on Wii U and NX.

But they will be tied to your N3DS knowing Nintendo. And only 5 SNES games will get released. With 3 month gaps in between.

Monster Hunter Generations trademark was leaked and that is 100% legit. It adds credence to the entire image. On top of that several insiders saying the list is in line with what they know.

The trademark wasn't leaked, it was found, and the date of the trademark being filed was before the alleged leak. This happens every single time there's a direct, and there has never been an accurate leak.
