That casualty count that they have on screen is absolute bullshit though.

74 dead in the Battle of New York?

23 dead from the ending of Winter Soldier?

ONLY 177 dead from Age of Ultron?

Complete and utter nonsense. That loss of life is so minimal and implausible given the size of the armies involved.

Maybe that's in the thousands like 74k etc

I still love how Tony can be so egocentric and still have such devotion to Pepper.

Team iron man is so shit they have to put spidey in it for people to root for stark

Team Iron Man has Black Panther

And though I may feel Ant-Man makes it an almost even fight, sorry but nah. It could just have been Black Panther alone and I'd still be Team Iron Man

mehh i dont even like spidey... iron man fo lyfe.... this will be the first CA movie i go see though, the other movies are really good but CA isnt one of my favs either...

You didn't see Winter Soldier? Go see it breh, one of the greatest comic book movies to hit the big screen.

Spider-Man hype! Man I need a pair of those tony stark watches. You never know when you will need to catch a bullet with your hands.

Did I see a new War Machine armor? Will we see the huge ass proton cannon at last?

War destroyer too please

Am I the only one thinking Marvel should of left the Spidey reveal until the actual movie?
Everybody knows he's gonna be in the movie, just imagine the audience reaction when that scene pops up.

If Iron Man could tank a, well, tank cannon round in the first Iron Man movie with no visible damage, how the hell does War Machine get his chest blown out by a rifle?

It doesn't look like it's the rifle that kills him - it's a lucky shot that hits at an angle and pulls out his arc reactor. So the suit is unpowered and falls to the ground.

Falling in a heavy metal suit will be the fatal bit...

How can anyone be on team Cap. Bucky straight shoots Tony at point blank range and damn near killed War Machine (looks like it was Bucky's handy work again). They're clearly the 'bad guys' here as opposed to the comic book where Tony was painted as being the villain
Easy. Down with the fascist.

I really, really don't think they do. Unless your definition of "everybody" means something else.

I think it makes sense when super heroes are really good at minimizing the casualties. But that's just me. I'm crazy.
There's a realistic minimizing casualties to keeping a full scale invasion of two cities down to fatalities in the thousands. And a completely unrealistic minimizing fatalities when you keep it under 100. Especially when you have two humans that shoot a bow and arrow and regular fire arms on your team.

Maybe that's in the thousands like 74k etc
Maybe. They specify billions of dollars though, so I assumed that when they put in 74, they meant 74.

I like that the belt part looks like it has slots on it.

The suit looks like the type of thing an exceptionally bright high school kid could put together. The eyes might be tricky but he is genius level so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

MOTHER OF GOD!
SPIDERMAN LOOKS GOOD!!!

Granted, I actually liked the suit from Amazing Spiderman 1 (not so much the one from ASM2), but this one's pretty fucking sweet.

Still, I still dislike the fact that this movie isn't just called "Marvel's Civil War". Or even "Avengers Civil War". Because everyone knows that this isn't only a Captain America movie and nobody will refer to it as one ever.

Not exactly. Deadpool's mask was animated to look like it was skintight and his own facial movements were affecting the eye/brow shape. Spidey's here has mechanical irises not unlike on a camera lens:
Was thinking the same. They probably have some zoom in and out functionality to them.

Looking forward to this more than I ever did for AoU.

I can't pick a side. There's too many characters I like, on either side.

I kinda like the costume now. It's different. Would have been incredibly lazy / boring of them to reuse the ASM2 costume as some seemed to want. Solo MCU Spider-Man will get a costume upgrade anyways.

He's saying its the actor's individual brand and version of the character, what lol?

No. Every actor gives their own flavour to the character they're playing.

No, he just saying that these guys do their own interpretation of their characters, living the roles.
I still disagree with that but that's just my personal opinion. Pratt was fine but I can see another actor playing Star Lord the same way he did. Not like how I can't imagine someone else playing Iron Man besides Robert Downey Jr.

Awesome trailer and best looking Spidey yet

Wait do we know for sure that he dies and isn't just knocked out? Or are we just hypothesizing?

no i have i just waited for it to come to bluray.. it was reaaaly good, im just sayin that CA really isnt one of my favs compared to iron man....

Actually, you now just gave us an excuse for how his mask works. Brilliant!

You saw that underwater prison for people who step out of line right?

That's why. Team Cap.

Why did the costume's eyes narrow and move? That part seemed too cartoonish. Real fabric doesn't move like that. Is there an explanation.

If this was a fight to the death, how would Iron Man's team handle Ant-Man? He should be able to kill pretty much everyone there with those discs of his. Widow, Falcon, Iron Man, Spider-Man should all be a joke to him. The two worrying ones are that Vision guy, and the mindfucker.

Honestly, these could just be placeholders. I'd expect the numbers/units to make sense in the final film.

Not gonna have a discussion about realism in movies with super soldiers and flying power armor and androids that can walk through walls. Nope.
