So I understand what DPS does. And I understand what health does. But what does your third score do? Does it just affect your cool downs of your abilities?

Cooldowns and effectiveness. For e.g. that healing ability will heal more and you can use it more often when you have higher tech.

it affects everything about your abilities

damage, cooldown, how much they heal.

you can see it when you select the skill

So, whats so special about the armor score, what does that help with?

armor mitigates damage in %

also, screenshot a friend just took

SYMBOLISM!

reduces the damage you take. You can see exactly how much (and a ton of other more in depth stats) on your character page in your inventory. It's a pretty legit stat.

Same for skill power, since it was just asked: highlight a skill, the difference between what you have on the base skill and what your current skill shows is all skill power and mods on gear. For instance I have an insane skill power due to my ballistic shield build basically treating it as health, so if I go look at say sticky mines for instance, they do something like 150,000 damage. the base is like 15k.

Quite annoying (they instantly come back after you kill them).

This hasn't happened to me, FYI.

One time 7 of us killed a load of difficult mobs around the extraction point, and then all stood around waiting for the chopper. No enemies in sight.

It was insanely tense. Like we were all standing still staring at each other. Waiting for more mobs to arrive. But also watching each other in case anyone made a suspicious rogue-like move.

No mobs came and eventually
we all politely extracted our stuff like a happy family

wait till lvl 10

Man, this game is legit. Played the beta on PS4, and did very little for me when not playing with my mates. After reading this thread, and talking to my friends, ended up grabbing it for my high-end PC, and boy is it a world of difference. So damn immersive. Grabbed the season pass after two hours. Loving every second of it.

The game is straight up fucking awesome. I have loved every second of it so far too. I really can't see anything coming close to topping it this year for me.

The tactics and the way that a good team has complimentary items (perhaps nothing new but I love it all the same), with the setting and content. I can't wait to get on later after the kids are in bed.

Me and my pals are constantly on watsapp because of this game lol

reviving is to fast in the dark zone...took down 2 people but their last friend revived them both in between my reload

well the heal that revives basically does it instantly too, but still, if you fight 3vs1 they need to have something on their side against a poopsocker like you :P

Can someone @lvl 30 post how many of each high-end part you need to craft a high-end primary/secondary weapon? I have enough for the high-end pistol but I want to save up for the main guns first.

Or if someone knows a site that has this information listed, that would be gravy too.

...anyone? Specifically Named ones.

"You know what? Let's have a clothing vendor at the base where people can buy outfit items and paint jobs for quite a chunk of money. And then NOT include a preview option so people have no fucking idea what they just bought"
"GENIUS, do it!"

So is it explained why humans with hoodies can take 500 bullets to the head? Are they super human? Serious question.

Or do I need to suspended my disbelief because it's an RPG? In destiny I could understand due to fighting Aliens... Bug not Street thugs.

Is there a reason it's okay your character in Battlefield can catch a 50 cal round to the chest, run over a magic box and be perfectly fine, or duck behind a wall in cod single player as your bullet wounds sew themselves back up? Videogames.

Yeah, there's definitely too many ways to heal that apply for too much in pvp at the moment. If it's 2+ other players in a fire fight expect to have to kill them 3 times back to back if they have cooldowns up.

LOL awesome post man nailed it!!

Few questions guys and girls.

First, what's (in your opinion) the best build to go with for the long term?
I'll expect I'll be spending quite a bit of time in the DZ so preferably a build that'd let me fuck shit up when I need to.

My second question is, wtf does marksmanship do? How can I see that stat and how long on average does it take to build up in the shooting range?

yes, exactly how you wrote it

Cool, thanks for the confirmation.

Good stuff, I'd be curious to see what kind of builds people are running once everyone is level 30.

Streaming The Divison LAN - all weekend pretty much. (For those that are bored at work)

https://www.twitch.tv/bestgameevercouk

Wait, hold up. You can run Division in a LAN? How does that even work...

Does anybody know how to check if I've got the season pass? I've bought the gold edition but the game doesnt show "gold" anywhere and I dont see any references to the specific version nor the season pass.

Also if you were level 6 and your buddy was about to start playing, would you create a new character or just join them with your level 6 character?

Wait for them to finish the tutorial and then invite them to your group.

Are we expecting encounters on the map to reset at any point? Just clearing the final two areas now(side missions and encounters) and the thought popped into my head...

I can see them doing it as another means of farming credits, but does excess tech resources(since all my tech trees are 100%) even useful?

I think at Lv30 you can then complete them at Hard/Challenging difficulty. Someone at that level should be able to confirm.

^This.

Can someone help explain DPS?

I currently have a classic M1A as a secondary weapon. It says 1914DPS, with 1304DMG and 300RPM

I just found a military SCAR-H which says it has 2361DPS, so quite a bit higher. But it only has 851DMG and 275RPM. So each shot does much less damage and it has a slower firing rate - how can the DPS be higher?

Can anyone give me a breakdown of what each stat does for certain builds? For examples which one affects how much healing you can do is it stamina or tech power? Explosives?

Thanks.

Ive been putting off main missions as i dont want to run out of stuff to do. Do more side missions pop up as you progress?

Go into safe houses in areas you haven't visited. There is a guy and board that will give you missions.
And by visiting them you can fast travel into them.

Maybe you have an item that adds like +56 SMG, +33 ASSAULT RIFLES, etc?...

11hours in 3 days which is a ton for me. I can't remember the last time I played a game this much.

Got a dope smg and shotgun last night while playing.

When should you start crafting? I feel like the table doesn't have anything that great.

Was playing a mission with some right-wing nutjob from New York tonight.
He was pointing out places in real life where he'd got rub-n-tugs and other miscellaneous health services from. Then he started ranting about "this is how it's going to go down if we get another pinko democrat president".

Fuck me.

You unlock blueprints doing side missions. You can check what you will get on the map on the left side of the screen when you hover over quest.

you should play Alpha Protocol first to get accustomed!

I've been genuinely surprised at the depth of the stats in this game. There are some really cool stat-perk-ability builds you can do in this game.

I know I have asked a ton of shit already, but I saw an article that says that the game has 26 main campaign missions.

Is that true?
