I was referencing posts where people said they'd vote him in for the lulz. Donald Trump really is the last person I'd want to see as president. Should have added an /s, but I thought it was obvious.
Oh don't worry. Other countries are concerned about US politics. The Canadian news channels are covering what going on extensively. The rest of the world is watching VERY closely.

The fucking hatred and rage I see on the news every day. Win or lose, Trump has emboldened these people for a very long time to come. He promised to take America back to 1956, and his audience gets glee from that. I can't imagine a time where I felt more disgusted to live in America.
That's the real damage. These people about going back to their old lives.

Regardless Trump has no support from Black and Muslim. Only the delusional fringes will back him but that doesn't matter.
I want to say Latin as well but polls show that they still back Trump as a sizable amount.
Trump only has Asians to appeal to really.

I feel like ever since Trump made comments about Muslims/Islam, whether or not to condemn the KKK, most of his supporters see this as "If he can say these things, then it's okay to be racist too!"

Polls only show Trump doing well with very specific geographic populations of Latinos that are also Republicans. They also show him getting slaughtered in the general in terms of Latinos.

Ratings. All they care about. Deep down they want him to be President. Just think of it, he would create stories on a daily basis. Journalism will be thrown out the window.
Mexican news usually report what happens aswell. When some dude wants to build a wall to keep you on the other side, you just have to pay attention carefully to what he says.
Trump has successfully exposed what the vast majority of Republican supporters truly believe. This is what 1/3 or more of America thinks of minorities. It's unbelievable to witness just how many of them are out there and Trump has pulled the curtain back on the whole thing.
The fact that there are so many people that believe this way that the presidency is in jeopardy of falling into those hands is sad. And it really showcases how racist of an agenda most Republican voters want their elected officials to have. The fact that these people vote in droves and stack local political positions with their kind of people is also scary.

This is the end. I saw a video of a Trump rally in Vegas where a white guy wanted to "light that motherfucker on fire" referring to a black guy getting beat up. Minorities are getting assaulted and beaten up on the daily. This isn't the America I grew up in. Bill Clinton, George W Bush were very very nice to minorities.

Everyone tells me he doesn't have a chance in the general.
It started long before Trump. The treatment of President Obama has been a real eye opener.
That's what they want to believe, and yeah, I mean it doesn't look good. A lot of states would have to flip. But, if Trump support turnout is unprecedented anything could happen really.
The other difference is that tons of American citizens are armed to the teeth.

I saw that at Ford Fest, an annual gigantic rally for Rob Ford, a couple of years back. (I went to gawk at the madness.)
Some gay rights protesters showed up, and were immediately encircled 20-deep by enraged Ford supporters until the cops showed up to break it up. They got shoved around pretty bad in the meantime.

To be honest, and this might just be me living in denial, but I don't think he has a chance in the general election. I think Trump will push moderate Republicans away more than he will pull moderate Democrats closer. And I just don't think that appealing to the far-right extremist vote will do much, because turnout is usually relatively high already for those people, and I'm sure that a fair few voted for Mitt Romney.

Trump's campaign has been nothing but a source of fear and anxiety for me and my boyfriend. Everyday I fear for my boyfriend's life, because he's hispanic, and because he has some French ancestry, he looks middle eastern. I fear for my life because I'm a transwoman and God knows while Trump never said anything extreme against the LGBT community, his supports would love nothing more than to have me executed or in an asylum.
Even if Trump loses the general, these people won't stop, if anything they'll be even far more angry and chaotic than ever. Their numbers will grow more and more, their ideology more extreme and dangerous. I expect minorities getting harassed, beaten, and likely murdered in much higher quantities in the days after Trump wins or loses the general election.
I am extremely scared.

I'd go as far to say Clinton as well due to him ramping up a disproportionate "War on Crime" that mainly targeted Blacks in the US as well.

Lets not even forget the families of the victims who claimed to "forgive him", and the media went wild with it. They forgive him, why doesn't everybody else! From the jump they tried to make it an attack on "Christianity"

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I work with a lot of people from overseas. I am on conference calls with them a few times a week. At least once a week I get to be embarrassed as I get asked questions about this asshat and his legitimacy.
There has never been a time in my life like this where I'm legitimately ashamed to be an American. Trump and his supporters are pond scum and even when he doesn't win the GE these supporters will still be around and emboldened to be even louder. Fucking disgraceful.
