Massive ongoing protest in Chicago makes Trump "postpone" his event

LOL @ the hotdog comment! But on a serious note I am so proud! People took a stand and send a powerful message. However, Trump is in complete denial. He thinks his rallies (hate speech) is innocent and we are radicals. I also loved seeing the Bye Anita signs.

I highly doubt he gives any shits at all. He'll hold a rally elsewhere and spin this in such a way that his supporters will eat it up.

Well, actually, that's true, because he just said on TV that he doesn't think the protesters were mad at him, but just mad at "what has been happening in America." Fucking delusional.

Trump: "Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me—and I welcome their hatred."

CNN talking about McCain shutting down some old ass racist lady like Trump should have done ages ago.

This is how you deal with fucking nutjobs, not by pandering.
That was late in the campaign, long after he'd unleashed the insanity and allowed it to build, and McCain's response was still implicitly offensive.

"He's an Arab."
"No ma'am, he's a decent, family man, citizen, that I just happen to have disagreements with..."

Yesterday we were talking about violence by Trump supporters, tomorrow we'll be talking about violence by protesters.

Hard to stop him when you agree with everything he does and says, just not quite how he says it.

It doesn't matter, they're already at a point where Trump is parroting GOP talking points except more extreme.

The point here isn't to say they disagree with him being racist, which they won't because the GOP gonna GOP. The point is to say they disagree with him literally saying "they should get punched in the face", and other kinds of things to instigate violence. Regardless of what the GOP thinks they should at the very least be saying that they don't support a candidate who actively revels in racially charged violence. It's the easiest excuse for the GOP to get him off the ticket but they won't.

I'm trying to guess how many "others" fighting they will show as opposed to the people who look like Trump supporters. There were people of all colors fighting.

Yeah, not an Arab a "decent family man." Fuck that. He didn't shut down the racist remark just reassured her that Obama was not an Arab, as Arabs to him can't be decent, or family men.

As much as I like to criticize McCain, I don't think he desired to imply Arabs were bad so as the characterization of them the woman was placing on Obama was. After all, this was rather spontaneous.

Now if he has ever repeated some ill remark about Arabs on his time on Earth, I wouldn't give the benefit of the doubt.

Go Chicago! Show that arrogant assholish blowhard trump that we won't be taking his "rallys" anymore. I hope this spread to every part of the country so we can stop this shit in its tracks for good.

Pretty much. GOP voters aren't logical.
Exactly he's getting tons of press and is hitting a lot of voters.

He comes off as an outsider to the political game which people like, he is confident and has his own style which is engaging people to follow politics like never before. Not only does he get the crazy nutjobs he actually gets a lot of moderate voters. Protests like this and how the liberal media are attacking Trump are helping him gain the victim card to a lot of people.

He will secure the GOP nomination and the biggest error the Democratic party is going to make is focusing on the "Look how crazy and racist Trump is!!" rhetoric. They have to attack him through policy and experience and not as some crazy person because clearly that isn't working.
