Not only the first lady, but the head of the health care task force, appointed by her husband. It would have been impossible for anyone else to be out front, because it was engineered to highlight Hillary's capabilities for her future political career.

That's the only reason I kind of give her the benefit of the doubt with her response to the statement. She WAS the one in the foreground in those days, and Bernie was a supporter.
