Hillary:"Where was Bernie when I got healthcare in 93?" Right there, she thanked him

Like I said, I think her campaign staff is inept a lot of the time. Why they didn't detect what was plainly obvious to me, I don't know.
She herself could have clarified it but she didn't so even though your interpretation makes sense the fact that she hasn't said anything to defend and clarify it makes me wary.

It was called hillarycare. Google it. Its well documented.

The thing that became known as "Obamacare" was originally invented in the 90's by the GOP (via The Heritage Foundation) as their alternative to Hillarycare. It's strange that she now conflates the two.

To be fair I don't know why she'd clarify herself to a tweet from a random reporter unless it went viral. And also to be fair, there is 0 context provided in that article. I think given Hillary's track record, we're all assuming correctly, but to a hard-minded supporter, it's still just an assumption

Her Communications Director deemed it worthy a response:

These mental gymnastics are so confusing.

Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton's communications director, argued after Clinton knocked Sanders that the video of the then-Vermont congressman standing behind the first lady "proves our point."

"Hillary Clinton was out in front. Senator Sanders was in the background. She is the one that took the slings and arrows from the health care industry," Palmieri said, adding later that in the video pushed by the Sanders campaign, "He is literally standing behind her, she is literally the one out front, as she was 20-25 years ago."

It kinda did go vital though.

The amount of spin in this thread to make it seem like her own words are implying something different than what they actually state is hilarious.

She said something really fucking stupid without fact checking. Get over it. It's not the first time and it won't be the last that she "misspeaks". (Boldface lies, while attempting to pander to god knows who. Lol)

Hillary needs to finish Bernie soon or she's going to lose. Bernie is slowly drinking her milkshake because he's the real thing.

Kinda like the West wing

Larry David is toby

Because it's not plainly obvious at all. She should have been more specific in what she meant.

Yea I'd blame this more on Hillary herself than nebulous campaign staff, she's not good on her feet like when she messed up answering the softball question: 'Do you lie to the American people?'

This right here. Also the "some intern is getting fired" posts. She says these words with her own mouth. She is responsible for them. In the end, whatever an intern writes, she decides to say it or not. Talking about interns is passing the blame.

Maybe the intern has remote access to her vocal chords?

The clip made me realize this quote was taken out of context. She wasn't saying literally "I don't know where he was" when she was trying to get health care passed, she's saying his attacks on her record about health care are dumb. "I don't know where he was" is about him not recognizing her fight for reform back then.

Excuses excuses from Hillary fans. Who cares about context!?

Watching the clip, it comes off as sarcasm. "I don't know where he was" because he doesn't give her credit for trying to get reform done back then. He conveniently forgets that. That's what I think she's saying.

And you're right.

But an understanding of sarcastic language goes right out the window when it comes to a candidate you don't like. Then you must speak literally 100% of the time.

Hmm, sounds like Berniebros telling minorities to vote for Sanders.

I was the person (or at least one, idk if others were told this as well) who was told "You are playing into Republican hands". And the person telling me I was playing into Republican hands was a pretty staunch Hillary supporter telling me I have to more or less "fall in line" and "know who the enemy is". This despite posts I had made previously in which I stated I would vote for Hillary if I absolutely had to as the alternative (any Republican) is god-awful for not just me but the people as a whole. I cannot and will never in good conscious vote Republican. But the two-party system screws my voice over as I feel some within the Democrat branch aren't left enough on many various issues.

I have consistently gotten and seen the exact opposite experience that I've seen people who support Hillary express regarding Bernie and his supporters. For me it's the Hillary supporters telling me I have to vote for her. This has happened consistently in real-life and elsewhere online. It reads as though my vote and existence is being used and exploited by some within the Hillary camp and I'm a traitor if I don't agree with their choice first and foremost. It's insulting and it's frankly happening here sometimes too.

It really reads to me as an attack arguing that he didn't do a thing about healthcare. Which is just blatantly false. I don't see anyway in which it could be read otherwise. Her word useage and emphasis just scream this.

I'm starting to think Bernie may be omnipresent

Didn't we see this a couple months ago? I recall seeing the picture posted online with her note.
Yeah, but it was under a different context, another failed attack of Clinton (she really needs to stop doing that). She was attacking Bernie Sanders on health care, only to be shown clips of her against Obama saying that democrats shouldn't attack each other on healthcare and for Bernie to publish the thank you note of hers.

This is my problem. She's going out of her way to spew bullshit.

And it paints her as dishonest more and more.

Plus...

Benghazi.

No no I kid about ghazi.

I just don't understand how she is so poor at this. You've been running for this office for oh, around twenty years...

She's making it really hard to support her.

Can't believe this is still going. I guess this is what happens when you have two people that agree on 97% of their policy, gotta find petty stuff to argue about. Both sides should be embarrassed.

When we start fighting over spelling errors, that's when we'll know we've really hit the abyss.

They don't agree on 97% of their policy, stop spreading that lie. Just because they voted almost the same doesn't mean that they have the same vision for the country on stuff that has not had any vote in the senate.

But one is mudslinging at the other and was called out with proof for lying?

And lol at the 97%. Not really.
