The GOP's robot designed to take back the White House.. has failed.

Not sure why anyone is surprised or gloating that Clinton is winning Florida. It's primarily a southern state – deep Clinton country. I'd have been shocked if it was in any way a close race. North Carolina as well. Ohio is a different story; not the results Sanders was hoping for there.
It's not the winner, it's the margin.

Bernie's biggest problem this entire campaign is that he's basically forfeited Southern states to Hillary and they result in huge blowouts allowing Hillary to pad her delegate lead, but his wins in key contests like Michigan are slim.

And many Bernie supporters have tried to play this off like "oh well red states don't matter, he's winning blue states" which 1) isn't true (FL went for Obama twice, and she's won several other blue states) and 2) is a dumbass primary strategy.

what a trouncing for rubio
how embarrassing

I wanted rubio to win florida and kasich to win ohio, to keep the primary prolonged as possible, but rubio losing means the GOP has lost their two best shots (rubio and jeb!) and kasich will remain in to go for the brokered convention. Cruz will remain because he will look weak if he pulls out and because he knows he can absorb a lot of the "rationals" from a rubio drop it. Basically, Cruz, Trump, and Kasich all have paths to the nomination still.

Kasich and Cruz's only path is through a brokered convention. Trump needs around 60% of the remaining vote which is unlikely.

lmao, that Rubio quote CNN just read. Something like "I believe with all my heart that the winner of the Florida primary will be the republican nominee."

Ouch.

Kasich winning Ohio shouldn't be shocking, it should be expected. He's the governor! I'm not sure how it changes any narrative for Kasich other than of course keeping the field crowded.

Rubio got spanked in his own home state. Rekt

Trump won in Florida with every single type of voter except the Cuban Hispanic voter. He pretty much got all the educated and uneducated white people in the palm of his hand. Really crazy. I wonder what % of the white vote he will get in Nov.

It's highly unlikely considering how unpopular he is overall, but of course there's a chance
Exactly. 40-50% of Republican primary voters isn't going to translate into the General very well. Not with him alienating every minority group out there.

Hillary is the next President. A Trump-Hillary General will be even more one-sided than this Primary was.

They're polar opposites, don't believe the 93% neoliberal lie. Hillary works for wallstreet

Yeah honestly, Hillary cares more about her 1%er friends at wall street then you, me, the common man. (unless of course you happen to be a 1%er, then congratulations! You are one of the lucky few who will benefit from a Clinton presidency.)
