So, assuming Bernie doesn't win any states tonight - which pretty much destroys his already meager path to victory - is he going to drop out or keep on going until the end just so he can rack up delegates to try to get some policy concessions at the convention?

IDK I haven't finished watching House of Cards... let me get back to you.

I actually think the only chance Rubio has to stay in politics is to go against what he said and run for his senate seat. The Republicans running for it are weak and in the general he might get Alan fucking Grayson as an opponent.

It's his best chance to right the ship and do it quickly. Waiting until 2018 against Bondi, Putnam and Atwater would be a disaster for him.

Polls have consistently shown that most Dems would be happy with either Clinton or Sanders.

Yep. People talk about the enthusiasm on the Republican side and how many are voting in the primaries but the truth is most dems don't care who wins between Hillary/Bernie. They agree on 95% of the issues, it doesn't matter which of them get on the ticket.

Not sure if he is allowed to. There may be a FL rule or law against it. Can't remember where I saw that.

How so? It's just going to be a waste of money. If he loses Ohio there won't be any more debates. Hillary is going to focus on the GE from now on and give her time to help out the down ticket.

I'll just say this. Imagine what the Dem primary would look like without Bernie.

I wonder what they're gonna do once Bernie is done once and for all. Do they suddenly start playing nice to Clinton?

TYT calls out Hillary for her flaws. Kasich and Cruz share those same flaws in a worse way. Trump has a ton of other worse flaws. They won't be excited about supporting Hillary, but they will enthusiastically attack the other side.

I might just block out all politics for a few weeks while people transition to Hillary. Things will be much, much better once people start accepting it.
That's probably a good idea. Probably for those transitioning as well. I'm going to be one of those people shitty and grumpy about Bernie effectively being done. Hilary isn't bad...I'm just seriously afraid that a lot of what she has touted recently is only in response to Bernie, and will drop off like a rock once he is gone from the race. But who knows...just rambling. Bummed that what I knew was going to happen has happened.

Yeah...time to take a break.

I'd like to agree with other posters that have said if Bernie doesn't get the nom, the Neo-Bernies that are younger and more energized in the future will be the future of the party.

Voted for Bernie, but I wouldn't be too bummed if Hillary wins each state if it causes the party to consolidate before the repubs do. None of the dem primaries are winner take all though, so even wins in every state leaves wiggle room in a "So you're saying there's a chance" kind of way.

Still seems too soon to call Ohio imo.
