Bernie's closing the gap in Ohio.

Hill 59%
Bern 39%

Could they have called it too early? I'm showing 25% complete.

No. They don't call results based on margins. Hillary had a huge lead in early voting, she won same day voting per exit polls. That's what they base it on.

The margin will probably be single digits.

Sounds like Kasich isn't dropping out from his speech. He said "the campaign goes on" and he won't take "the low road to the highest office".

He's banking on a broken convention. Cruz and Trump are undesirables, Kasich is the only sane choice.

Yes, he might be utterly destroyed in the GE, but it'd be better than Trump or Cruz who would set the tone for the GOP through their failures and absolute disgusting personas.

They very clearly hate Hillary lol. And I'm a progressive, I just don't want to risk running Bernie. Not sure his campaign of tax hikes and socialism would work out for him, despite agreeing with him.

They've done heaps of videos defending Hillary. They call out the sexism that Hillary has endured at various stages of her political life / this campaign. But yeah LOL SALT right now, they're upset that their guy lost, within a week they'll be on the Hillary train.

People like to complain about Bernie bros but there's a shit ton of really obnoxious Hillary supporters on Gaf. Not sure how it is elsewhere but on Gaf Hillary's supports are way more annoying than Bernie's.

Oh well, I guess I'm now a Hillary supporter as of today. Don't let me down, Hilldawg.

Yup - easily. From the dude claiming "Literally every Sanders supporter" on GAF is incapable of keeping up with him in argument, to the idiot that dug through my post history to out me as a "sexist" when I highlighted a bad debate answer of hers, it's pretty terrible. Smug levels critical.

Christ Almighty wrap it up

It's bizarre. If it wasn't too late, Kasich could have been a somewhat okay-ish GOP nominee.

Now deal with the Trump monster you nurtured, GOP.

Maybe if they find pictures taken yesterday of Trump, Ivanka, Hillary and Bill having a 4some in some remote island.

Forget about 4some, if they find pics of a Trump+Ivanka 2some, I'll become American so I can vote for this hero.

I've seen some trolling but not much. There's a lot of HiLLsplaining, but Bernie Bros really cling to skewered polls / delegate math which is not something progressives should ascribe to.

Leave that to the teaparty and Rove.

AP is the definitive source in calling states and elections. Them calling a state wrong would be a huge stain on them. I highly doubt they called it wrong.

So now that this is effectively over, where do you want to see Bernie in the theoretical Clinton presidency? Cabinet post? Stay in the Senate? Head of the SEC or something like that?

I'm not sure how you call yourself a progressive without being supportive of tax increases in general and a more socialist approach to governance. Things like universal healthcare and education don't pay for themselves with tax cuts.

Voted Bernie in the primary.

Doesn't look like I'll be voting in the general. Hillary is awful. Trump is awful.

Any good games coming out that week?

I don't think I'm the only one who is right, not by far.

But Bernie Sanders is about as far to the right as I'm willing to compromise if there's a third party who better represents my views on the ballot.
I'm going to guess you view world politics in a Euro-centric way i.e. the US is far right of center in world terms.

But Europe isn't actually that liberal: they are very rich and very white. You can already see that the addition of non-white people has caused a massive rightward shift.

Europe isn't actually anywhere near as left as you think it is.

He's better off staying in the Senate.

Bernie was basically finished weeks ago when he lost the south.

So Hillary is up to bat.

She's shit, but comparatively much less shit than her opponents.
