Kasich doesn't know where they're going beyond tomorrow because they still gotta pay for those plane tickets.

So now that this is effectively over, where do you want to see Bernie in the theoretical Clinton presidency? Cabinet post? Stay in the Senate? Head of the SEC or something like that?

He's much better off in the Senate, just like Warren.

Mother of god.. ...

Kasich

Listening this is bad enough, listening with the snarky commentaries of those YTY program is a nightmare, who are these guys?

I'm not sure how you call yourself a progressive without being supportive of tax increases in general and a more socialist approach to governance. Things like universal healthcare and education don't pay for themselves with tax cuts.
I just said said I support them in the post you quoted, but you aren't winning the GE campaigning on that, sorry. That's delusional thinking.

I would have honestly been happy for either Bernie or Hillary as they're both good candidates and people from what I can see. Hopefully if Bernie does stay in the race he uses his campaign money to help fund more liberal democrats for the House and Sentate.

Sanders is also trending upwards in Illinois, about 5% difference with 28% reporting. Probably can't close it, but the majority of early votes in IL were from Cook County (chicago)

Yeah it's pretty crazy on here, seeing the reasons people aren't supporting him, or seeing so called "progressives" actively arguing against his positions, like money in politics, tax increases, or health care.

I'm reading about all this from Sweden and I'm shocked at all the stories of people not being allowed to vote, or their votes not counting for some arbitrary reason.

What kind of democracy are you running in that country when elections can be decided by incompetent people running your ballots? Not to mention that laughable system allows for easy corruption.

When I vote in Sweden I can go to one of maaaany locations (at least one of which is in walking distance), present my ID to show I am a citizen and then vote for whomever/whatever party I wish in total anonymity.

I just assume a good portion of Hillary supporters are Social Democrats - left on social issues, and fiscally conservative.

I'm going to guess you view world politics in a Euro-centric way i.e. the US is far right of center in world terms.

But Europe isn't actually that liberal: they are very rich and very white. You can already see that the addition of non-white people has caused a massive rightward shift.

Europe isn't actually anywhere near as left as you think it is.

I know that. Europe has plenty of problems, too. They're still not perfect, although they're better than the US by a lot. I certainly have no illusions about European politics. They're closer to the center than the US, but that doesn't make them amazing.

Voted Bernie in the primary.

Doesn't look like I'll be voting in the general. Hillary is awful. Drumpf is awful.

Any good games coming out that week?

Uhm so you want to risk a Trump presidency?. I'm a Bernie supporter but damn just take the L and vote Hillary.

It's because he can't get it done, it's impossible, the math doesn't add up, it's too pie in the sky, America isn't ready, I got mine

Yea, there are tons of presidential elections that are won by promising to raise taxes significantly...oh wait. Sanders way is not how we will bring change. It's incremental, like it or not.

You don't care about senate and house races? State and local ones. Supreme Court nominees. This goes well beyond the President.

The fuck does that have to do with how liberal a country is?

Seriously. I can't stand all the special snowflakes who have to go "OH but hillary is so AWFUL i can't bring myself to vote for EITHER of these candidates!"

like, bitch and moan all the way to the polls if you have to, but at least vote for the lesser of two evils.

Is Trump in FL? Has he spoken yet?

"We don't win anymore. We lose. We keep losing. We don't make any deals. That deal in Iran? Worst deal in the history of the country. We have to go in an make dat deal. We have to destroy ISIS. Remember that ISIS? They keep decapitating our people's head. We need to bomb them. Bomb Isis. Bomb the oil. Take the oil! We need to make deals again. When you go to China, you have to come back with a deal. When I'm president of the United States, we will win again. We will win, and win, and win. We will win so much you'll get sick of all the winning. And I will turn to you and refuse to stop winning so much! America will be great again. It will be greater than it ever was!"

Here, spoiled it for. Maybe add some ramble about mexio wall, muslim hate and such.

Seriously. The only saving grace of a Trump presidency is fastest time to impeachment ever.

But I'm also afraid of who his VP will, because we'll be essentially electing them as prez.
