"We don't win anymore. We lose. We keep losing. We don't make any deals. That deal in Iran? Worst deal in the history of the country. We have to go in an make dat deal. We have to destroy ISIS. Remember that ISIS? They keep decapitating our people's head. We need to bomb them. Bomb Isis. Bomb the oil. Take the oil! We need to make deals again. When you go to China, you have to come back with a deal. When I'm president of the United States, we will win again. We will win, and win, and win. We will win so much you'll get sick of all the winning. And I will turn to you and refuse to stop winning so much! America will be great again. It will be greater than it ever was!"

Here, spoiled it for. Maybe add some ramble about mexio wall, muslim hate and such.

It's the norm over there. Even /r/politics acts like that.

It's not just a couple of posts. I browse reddit pretty frequently.

People used to think the nasty ass commentors on YT and Yahoo were 6 or 7 trolls. Trump's rise in popularity have shown us that it's actually a few million that are hateful, stupid bigots.

I like Sanders... a lot. But I don't like him because I think his proposals are going to work, I like the idea behind his proposals. I hope we move in that direction. That being said, I've been incredibly loathe to openly support him. Clinton haters / Bernie stans are reminding me too much of how reddit behaved during the Ellen Pao incident.

I disagree, I'm on the /r/SandersForPresident sub daily. I admit there are Bernie supporters that are racist but they are still an outlier. I do agree that there is an overall disdain for Hillary. There's also alot of trolls on the sub right now and you can figure it out by just looking at their post history. Painting Bernie supporters in general as racists is ridiculous. Let's stop this nonsense.

You damn sure aren't going to do it if you don't run a candidate whose platform is to try. How exactly do you see such things coming to pass? It's going to be a nasty, drawn out fight on the national stage but someone, somewhere is eventually going to have to have that fight.

It's not like some Democratic president in the future will just be able to slip those things past Congress without them noticing.
You have to get into office first before that fight can even take place. I think Bernie's way is where we will eventually be, but you can't win a national election like that currently.

Not voting against the guy who wants to ban all Muslims from entering the US because a left-wing candidate lost to a slightly less left-wing candidate is fucking ridiculous. Seriously, this shit isn't a game.

I was hoping I would be able to vote for Bernie in the primaries in a competitive race, but I am in Pennsylvania, so that was probably never realistic.

Really hoping he drops out soon and gets behind Hillary.

I would absolutely vote for Bernie, without fucking question, but it's not happening.

It's a liberal facade. When the oil runs out in the Scandanavian countries and the population continues to get more diverse, pretty soon they'll be lucky if they're as liberal as the US.

We don't have oil in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. But we all have high taxes, universal healthcare, free education and very little religion.

But yes, Scandinavia and most of the EU has been going backwards for decades. It's not a recent development.

this subreddit is amazing

What he said isn't wrong, probably lacking the context of needing much higher margins thou, it isn't a kasich situation where he flat out CAN'T WIN.

People usually point out what he says is too ambitious for the USA (apparently). I guess it'll take them another 15-20 years to get to where we are right now.

I really wish Hillary would just sweep and then maybe, just maybe some Bernie supporters would come back to Earth and see reality. Who am I kidding though?

This. Really wish my fellow young voters would use their goddamn brain when thinking about all this. It's about more than just one issue.

*shakes head*... I guess my Father is right then... We should expect a Trump presidency. :(

Dark times for all minorities, especially Muslims. :(
That's what so crazy to me. I guess I shouldn't be surprised but the whole swath of people willing to throw everyone else under the bus because their bro Bernie isn't going to make it is so narrow minded.

TYT are super salty right now, which is funny.

Anyways, I'm glad Clinton can finally put this Sanders stuff behind her. He can finish out the race if he wants to keep pushing his talking points but maybe she can focus her attention less on him and more on the GE candidates now (likely Trump)

President Clinton here we come.

I feel like all the people who say Trump can't win because he's too evil haven't seen all the parts of history (and current history) where evil people gained power :C

I don't want it to happen of course, but still...

lol, in what universe is she on the same level is Trump? Is Trump's hate towards Muslims, minorities, immigrants, etc literally worth nothing to you?

Duxxy3 is soooo serious about Bernie's policies that he's willing to trash the possibility of ever attaining those policies from future Bernie-like candidates.

mathematically anyone can win the race since no one has a majority. i'm saying it's just a dumb statement by itself.

Justices Anthony Scalia V2.0 1, 2, 3, & 4.

If you want to ensure Bernies platform is dead for another entire generation, please proceed.

This election is way more than just the empty stump promises of Bernie and Hillary (and really, that's all they are).

I don't understand your point. Either we get the insane Trump, or someone who is a bit of a party-toer.

the same reason America didn't want Arrested Development. the world will never know

I actually wonder if Hillary has a better chance in Missouri than in Illinois.

On second thought, the Upshot model has been very steady for her even with downstate coming in. And nothing from Madison County.
