LOL. Trump won 3 states. He is a confirmed racist now. What is happening? I'd like to point out my neighbor that plays Gears with me is a massive Trump supporter and he is a immigrant. This is mind boggling. WHAT IS HAPPENING? If Rubio would have gave the same passion as he did tonight, things might have been different.

If Bernie stays in too long after he's already lost, he'll end up coming across as a stubborn, rambling old man.

He should duck out with grace and campaign along side Hillary.

Trump winning across the board(save OH) and the media being eager to kill Sanders = more Trump coverage (not that the dems were getting much to being with). Looks like he wrapped up the nomination tonight.

I'm fine with Bernie staying in and keeping things leftwards-focused, but if he starts ramping up his attacks even more he'll have very much outstayed his welcome in my book. There's no point in going negative if you can't win.

I was listening to his live speech about 5 mins ago, and he was talking about how Hillary's Super PAC took in millions from Wall Street.

I like Bernie a lot, but my opinion of him will go south if he keeps talking shit about Hillary after he's clearly lost. All you're doing is helping Trump at that (this) point.

Why not drop out and continue spreading his message stumping for Hillary in the general? The Party gets to look like it's got it's shit all the way together (strong contrast with the other guys), Hillary gets to save her warchest for the general, Bernie has longer to pull his supporters together and make sure they don't do something stupid like vote for Trump.

Because Hillary doesn't believe in the same message as Bernie. It's the up-and-coming message that will get in younger voters ears and carry forward past this election.

I'm not voting for Trump. I'd vote for a ham sandwich before I ever voted for any modern day Republican, whether it be president, congressman, or dog catcher.

I'm aware of the message, but you certainly don't need to win the presidency to spread that message. He already has, and with great success:

That ship has sailed long ago.

Fucking hell.

losing is losing chief.
Want my smartass answer or my real one? The below was said:

Bernie's not only running for himself, he's running for basically all of America's younger citizens and far-left liberals like himself from 2020 onwards.

The longer he stays in, the better gauge we have of where we're at as a nation.
Therefore, "losing is losing" isn't really important. Or relevant in the same way to what we're talking about. But also:

losing is losing chief.

Same here. I like bernie, but even a few months ago I was getting tired of hearing the stump speech.

I'm not claiming he's a messiah, I'm claiming he should stay in and continue his message so we can get more people to hear it.

Until he drops out and can't get that message out any more, it's not over.

The longer he stays in and keeps attacking Clinton now, the more he hurts his message as he will lose goodwill and legibility quickly with the Democratic voters.

If he stays only one his message and stops all attacks, he'll be fine.

That ship has sailed long ago.

See this irks me about the election. We're voting between someone who supports this and someone who doesn't. (Speaking of general)

The general should have been between Clinton and Sanders (or something near it). I feel like that's where America needs to be. Not this shit show we have now.

It is out of the question. It'd be filibustered. It wouldn't stand up to SCOTUS, regardless of what kind of Justice you think he'd put in. The Republicans in the House and Senate don't like Trump, so they're not going to play ball with him on it. And if he did try it, he'd get destroyed in an election in 4 years. It's not happening.

The only way it could THEORETICALLY happen is if a Constitutional amendment was passed, and that would require some major, major leaps to get done.

You mean the way Democrats filibustered the Iraq invasion instead of bending over and going right along with it?

All it requires is a little dose of fear, a terrorist attack, a threat overseas, or something similar, and they'll all fall in line.

Not when it forces the party to consider what the party members want. Bernie may lose, but his ideals should live on in some form.

should? maybe? will? no.

His voters will get jobs and kids and become establishment voters in 4-8 years...exactly like Obama voters did in 08, who are voting for Clinton now.

did I just blow your mind

It doesn't help that every speech he gives is nearly identical. I've heard this "nobody has asked for MY birth certificate!" line like a hundred times now.

Yeah true indeed

Either way it's time for Bernie supporters to get on board and support the inevitable nomintee, fuck being salty

For what it's worth, I think Bernie is an OK guy and he's had a great effect on this election. I hope Bernie and Hillary supporters can all be friends again.

Was he not expected to get it? I assume this doesn't change anything, though...

It was 50/50, but the margin will be razor thin, so yeah it won't help him.

Also the killer of all irony, TYT ended Sanders coverage to show Trump coverage.
