Anyone know for sure if Trump's twitter has handlers right now, or if it's really just him shooting these off all the time? I can't take the heartbreak that it's actually some intern doing all these.

Any good politician would've posted that video.

Really? You know, it's definitely possible that I just don't know politics, but I want to think that Obama would not have sunk that low against Clinton in '08, and I think that this is generally true for most politicians who possess anything resembling "class". Would Nixon have done it? Sure. But I think you have to reach pretty low to find the types of politicians that would.

Glad to see that the number of counted precincts in STL was incorrect. I still think Bernie wins but seeing only 10% of a city of 300,000 with a majority (I think) AA population vote left me legit shook.

I'd be very surprised it was anybody other than Trump.

Wasserman over on 538 is saying that, despite the incredibly narrow margins in Missouri, Trump is on course to get 47 delegates there to 5 for Cruz, based on how the vote is distributed; and around 60 of 69 delegates from Illinois. This would effectively erase the deficit created by his loss in Ohio.

That someone other than Hillary is capable of winning against the Republican nominee in the general election.

Are you saying if Hillary loses to Trump it's the fault of Hillary supporters because Sanders might have been able to win?

This is postfactual reasoning! I think Sanders would probably do worse, so even if Hillary loses (probably impossible), I'd still be happy that we didn't lose as badly as Sanders would have.

Sanders' has got MO. For sure. Clinton has IL, also for sure. Both have finally come into focus over on the upshot.

I love Bernie but what the hell are these polls saying he'd do better than Hillary? Seems inaccurate.

So when does Jeb resume his campaign?

Never.

I think this cycle has permanently put the Bush name out to pasture, and likely did some serious damage to Rubio, too early to say if it's permanent. Cruz will remain strong with Evangelicals but after this election I think he may be done on the national stage as well.

The Republican party going forward in 2020 will be very interesting to see. Who could have even guessed this would happen? I think lots of people saw the party implosion coming, but didn't expect it to happen this cycle.

Yeah, that's insane. I think that's only if he actually wins MO though? And he's currently only like 2,000 votes ahead so it's not a done deal yet.

Hopefully now we can hear an end to all this crap about Bernie being a possible contender for the nomination, he never had a chance from day one. Sanders needs to do the right thing now and bow out gracefully and throw his full support behind Hillary.

Hilldawg vs Drumpf

let the games begin...

Nightmare is more like it...

Can you think of a more exciting main event for Election 2016? I sure as hell can't.

Clinton stomps Trump seven ways to Sunday. The supreme court flips democratic. The GOP see massive losses in the house and senate. Maybe we even get some democratic governors back in states to protect abortion rights at the state level rather than just the supreme court level.

And the debates, and campaign adverts will be spectacular. The GOP will about tear itself in half.

Sanders just doesn't have the drawing power Clinton does.

It's going to be hugely hugely entertaining and the country will be left in capable hands.

Sorry that you won't get wide sweeping economic and healthcare reform.

But you weren't going to get those anyways.

Not without fixing the senate and the house, and you've got to get your butts out to vote in the mid terms and in your local elections if you ever want that to happen.

This election cycle has been a learning experience for everyone I think. Lot of twists and turns.

Someone unable to win the Democratic primary is capable of winning in the general? I'm not quite sure that's how it works.

Someone getting screwed by corporate media, the DNC, dws

Don't vote for anyone with superpac money, not worth the blood on your hands

The paper of record:

nyt said:
Hillary Clinton won a major political and psychological victory in the Ohio primary on Tuesday night, rebounding from her upset loss to Bernie Sanders in Michigan a week earlier, while also scoring landslides in Florida and North Carolina.

The results were a significant setback for Mr. Sanders, who was counting on his fiery arguments against free trade to help him prevail across the industrial Midwest. He spent heavily trying to win Ohio, Illinois and Missouri, but he came away looking increasingly like a spoiler to Mrs. Clinton, since she is far ahead in amassing delegates needed to win the nomination.

For Mrs. Clinton, Tuesday’s primaries netted her so many delegates that her lead over Mr. Sanders is now about three times what Barack Obama’s was over her in 2008. On a personal level, too, she and her advisers were reassured that regardless of her Michigan defeat, her political arguments about jobs and the economy had potency in states that will be major battlegrounds in the general election.

Man, Bernie was completely crushed in Florida... Do you guys think the Castro thing had anything to do with it, or was it the #BernieSoWhite messaging that was pushed forward?

welp. looks like i'm voting for the Hildawg come November (barring some catastrophic incident like an indictment, though i highly doubt that will happen)

the dream is dead.
