US - PSN FLASH SALE

Fatal Frame games being $1 each are kinda of a steal, actually.

PS4 SAO Re: Hollow Fragment at $4.99 is tempting too, since I was always perversely curious about that game.

Strider is decent but it is also a PS+ game which I'm assuming most people own at this point.

Millions of PS4s have been purchased since Strider was a PS+ title. I'd wager there's millions of PS4 owners who don't own it.

I own like half these games already. I don't even remember paying for them aside from Transformers and Sword Art Online. Must've been PS+ titles.

You're better off waiting for the Xtreme Legends edition.

Gotta get Goose first. Forget Loon, it isn't lore heavy and despite international coinage, it is not canon.

I'd say it's the best place to start for newcomers to the series.

Thanks for the replies, i think i may hold off. Not really a fan of the direction theyve taken the artstyle, Chinese warring factions was always pretty intriguing to me but this but it seems the devs reached a bit too far in trying to branch out the series

Sorry i'll stop now

SAO Hollow Fragment any good?
Yes, it's quite good. 100+ hours of content. Translation was fixed for PS4. It has very good (if a bit obtuse) combat system. There is fan service but you can ignore most of it. It's a steal at $4.99.

bought peggle 2 and the alice bundle

Bought alice: Madness returns when it first came out and loved it. (think im only a trophy or two away from the plat) but had to sell it for some quick cash. Said i'd always buy it back when i got the chance. For $2 you can't beat that.

Now put driver San Francisco on PSN got damn it!

So, is Prince of Persia Warrior Within and The Two Thrones worth the price? Do they hold up, these days?

Also, Thief 2014 for $2.99. Thoughts?

Ridge Racer PSP is fucking great! Not as good and comprehensive as RR2 PSP which I am still pissed we never got a US release but it's the last great RR we got in the US. Drift yourself away to some happiness

SOA is chockful of Single Player MMO type quests and tons of skill trees for each weapon which all have seperate exp points to put into so unless you are really into the anime or really want a timesink I would say no to this. The battle system is okay but doesn't really save the design around everything else and you will be doing a lot of fighting

RIDE is a bargain for $10, it's the closest we've got to tourist trophy.

I want to get it but am debating whether to just put it towards Drive Club Bikes.

I guess it's more Sim than Driveclub Bikes?

I'm lacking a good motorcycle game on PS4 I just realized.

In for Giana Sisters and Ridge Racer PSP.

Also, Spelunker HD with the ridiculously-hard DLC for $4.24 is a fucking STEAL. If you have any interest at all in hardcore platformers then check it out, just make sure you switch the ugly new graphics to the retro style.

I've been on the fence about Transformers for a while now, so $17.50 sounds like a great time to jump in.

I'm also thinking of grabbing Rock Band Blitz for $4.50 just to import some the songs into RB4. I don't want the whole soundtrack, but a quick tally puts me at ~9 songs I want, which would normally be $18 if I bought them individually.

Always the same paltry selection of games for Vita. With so many PS1 and PSP games there should be more or a better selection.

WW i say no, its pretty much the black sheep of the series and I wouldnt recommend it since Two Thrones is available. TT is basically Assassins Creed 0.5 and takes the series in a respectable direction, a much better follow up to Sands of Time.

How are the Prince of Persia games for PSP/Vita? I liked the first PS2 game, but never played any after.

Also, any other recommendations on the PSP/Vita side?

My personal picks (would buy them if I didn't own them already:

- Muramasa Rebirth (seriously, that's a steal)
- NepReb 1/2
- Code: Realize
- Norn9
- Mind 0 (in beore 'that game sucks)

Yes, much more of a sim than DC:B.

It's a little rough around the edges, and not a massively long single player campaign, but it's a no brainer at $10 for anyone with a passing interest in the driving genre.

I would get the Swapper, but there's no Platinum. Getting Duck Dynasty instead.
BRB going back in time to make sure achievements never take off.

A few of those look pretty good and I don't already own, but I may sit it out. Is Home any good?
