Someone has finally talking sense. Sega did it and Nintendo did it, it doesn't work for a closed platform. ANd as a product devalues in mindshare what people thought they were buying.
If they go through with it, Highly doubt PS5-PS6 will have the same impact in early adoption that PS4 did.
And it will be slow generational decrease that ultimately may cause a huge effect in the gaming industry as a whole.
Seriously after reading Console wars book, it's like watching Sega, Nintendo all over again during a golden age where people were making money, and buying systems, and they thought incremental add ons/upgrade refreshes were a smart idea.
