I hope not. He lost because Tokido KNEW the matchup and did good ol'fashioned Tokido things. Doesn't mean that he should just drop the character.

And here's the problem with the old mentality of dropping characters based on their current state. This isn't like previous street fighters where it can go very long periods between patches, I think the idea will be to keep it evolving, and that includes balance. So just dropping a character because of its current state seems short sighted with this game. Play someone you enjoy and resonate with, and just see where it takes you.

Yeah, Snake might benefit from a patch, but it's 3s balance: If you've got a parry, you can just tell the player to get better at that and call it winnable. Kuroda was a damn magician without much else...

The Ryu matchup ( along with chun and dhalsim ) is a special kind of hell for Mika to get in though

Asia has the deeper talent pool. It's just that people forgot about that due to a lot of American personalities spouting out the idea that Asia wouldn't be as good in SFV due to lack of arcade.

Probably give him a lariat that is useful. I guess they might allow air spd if lariat trades.

People will bitch if they give him a faster spd or a bigger advantage on knockdown after spd.
