Ex-GameTrailers staff announce new project EasyAllies

This will be my first patreon ever, it's such a great feeling that we can at least support them part of the way and don't have to see them dissapear into the ether like 1up
 
Just over $500 away from reviews being a thing again. I know I was telling people to keep expectations in check at first, but I might have been the one in the wrong!

Here's the thing though, Kinda Funny is working off over 60,000 a month on Patreon AND sponsor deals / ads and they're making just enough to keep their company going with a small staff of 4 people. That means EZA will likely need more than that for them to commit full time. I hope that can happen, but I think it'll take more time.

Let's hope they're cooking up some backdoor shady deals. I know Bosman has the Bud Light connect.

We are already at like 14k/ month, damn that feels good.
 
They should consider altering the name. There's already a game-related EA acronym out there. :P

I thought crowdfunding a project with so many people might not be optimal, but they're raking in the cash apparently, so what do I know.

Also, the Twitch chat was almost unreadable for a little bit there as people subscribed like mad as soon as the link came up.
 
I'm so happy to see that patron go up..

I just hope all those who are there stick to the money since they will need all of it.
 
Pledged! This was my first crowdfunding pledge ever. I celebrated by immediately funding Matthewmatoisis as well. He just quit his job to do videos full time. Seems like we are living in the golden age of crowdfunding projects! I wonder if they can use the amount pledged to them to market themselves for sponsorships? Also, I thought it was really col that Shu donated publicly.

Well, not really true about the "making just enough to keep their company going". Actually they talked about this and they are doing really well for themselves among patreon support and youtube, so more than enough as of today.
Not saying it will an easy life for EZA, but what is happening today shows that they have their fans supporting them and hopefully they will create a new audience.
