You don't sound dumb. Yes it is tied. When you select paypal it will ask to login with paypal at some point.

Yep, they're listed. He showed me in PM.

He bought the yen cards, redeemed them to his account, they successfully added. But when he goes to buy it still has the "+" there were it asks you to add payment method to buy, instead of showing the money he has in his wallet.

There are so many steps missing. Like how to you buy the yen? You can't use your credit card. I managed to link my paypal but it doesn't show up when I try to buy something on the japanese store page.

Figuring out? You just change your region and buy some yen codes. It's done within 5 minutes. I did this all the time on my xbox one (sold it 6 months ago, damn lol).

As I have read this is not something that is happening for the first time, and I doubt the sales trough this method are enough to make Namco or MS to care about doing something. given MS marketing deal, who knows is this is some sort of thing that they went trough and they see it as a 3 week XBOX timed exclusive. as it is kind of interesting that today Dark Souls is available for BC.

After three weeks most of the players finished the game at least once. Exploring a Souls game with a community is a huge part of the enjoyment (imo). I'm not going to experince it this time.
Hype level went from 100 to zero. Japanese players getting the game three weeks early is already pretty stupid (good for them though) but now Xbox One players (worldwide!!!), too?
It's a mess.

While I certainly agree with this, surely there will be enough Western PC/PS4 gamers for a quality communal experience in 3 weeks?

Some of us were willing to jump through a loophole to get the game early on a console that is far behind the leading one. Bamco probably doesn't care.
