Definitely staying out of this thread until at least a few days after the movie releases and we can have a more reasonable discussion.
With so little for her to do and so few scenes, it's not hard to pull off given the rest of the rest of the movie.
Batman is the real highlight.
Even ignoring the bad reception this title ain't the best. What's with the <?
The main thing this movie did is totally sell me on Affleck Batman
They had one freaking job when they cast eisenberg as lex. Just repeat your social network performance and shave your head
Thats it. Its a smart post modern take on Luthor. But no he gives us...that
Nah I'm out. There isn't going to be any meaningful discussion here.
It's not even about liking/disliking the movie, it's just meme shit.
Who's calling who a piece of shit?
What?
Oh no. That was one of the things I'm really looking forward to.
What happened?? I also wanted Lex Zuckerberg

Have we ever had a good spin off film come out of a not very good main film? I'm not insinuating a solo Affleck bat-film can't be great, I am just curious as I am drawing a blank.

While also having a bad tick. They decided to merge Lex and the Joker into one person:
The Lexer

Screw me for wanting to see the movie for myself. Im a terrible person.

The back and forth arguments over Batman's concept of killing and this scene seem quaint now.

Someone somewhere at WB is just waiting for the reciepts to come in. Anything under 160 mil, they will hit a button, that button will sound an alarm at someone's desk, that someone will go into a drawer and pull out the old Justice League: Mortal script, that person will hand off the script to another person, who will run it into another office, who will immediately begin dialing the number connecting him to the agent of George Miller.
At that point, they will proceed to negotiate the writer/director fee for reviving the project.

Once it appears negotiations are going well, that person will hit a button on their desk. It will sound an alarm at another person's desk. That person will go into their drawer and pull out the contract with Zack & Deborah Snyder.
They will sigh deeply before they pick up their phone.
Underrated post right hereIf there is even a 33% chance we must take that as an absolute certainty.
The movie we deserve.
Do you think they might be okay with Deadpool numbers ($130)?

God no. That's what, only 15 mil more than Man of Steel made opening weekend?
Nah. If it comes in under 150, there will be a mild panic, I'm sure.
For who?
The fans or the executives or both????

I'd imagine there were a lot if WB executives that think/thought this would pull in Force Awakens level cashFor who?

Guys this movie is gonna be amazingfor memes

The executives.
If this film is as poorly recieved as early returns seem to be, I don't think fans will be panicked at all at the idea the direction forward would change drastically.
