The Humble Monthly Bundle

Wait. It's not letting me pay early to unlock Mad Max. Is that because I'm already subscribed? But I've been subscribed since January and I was able to pay early before.
 
Pretty good set of games this month, and I only owned two of them already!

Also Mad Max is worth the $12 if your computer is decent. Graphically GORGEOUS and optimized really well. The game itself is pretty underrated too.

Scroll all the way down on the April Monthly page, it took me awhile to find as well. There should be a pay now option at the bottom.
 
Just to make sure - I subscribed on the 25th of march or so so I don't know about this - if I'm already subscribed, and I don't want to pay early, do I get Mad Max on the 1st of may? Or it is a "pay early or lose it" bonus?

Max is in the next bundle whether you get it early or on time.

you will get it when it auto renews in 3-4 weeks (I can't remember if the auto renew is 1 or 2 weeks before the bundle)
 
This month's bundle is awesome. I own South Park: SoT and This War of Mine, but I really wanted Nuclear Throne and Renowned Explorers a lot. The other games also look decent if a bit of an unknown quantity for me.

Looking forward to next month, Mad Max being the early may bode well for the bundle. I'm not going to unlock early though, too many other things to play in the meantime.
 
Ok I totally jumped the gun on calling the bundle trash. I went off logos and title name. I did not realize we got 2 shmups in this bundle.

Nuclear Throne looks pretty great. Stupid title and logo for a shmup but I am excited to get home and try it.

Tailwind: Prologue I didn't even see at first in the list. THAT looks pretty fantastic actually.

Cost of Big Mac + Fries + Drink redeemed!
 
Well, ended up getting South Park and This War of Mine for 12 bucks. I'm not really interested in the rest that ended up coming out on this.

Canceling for the next month, I don't have time for an Ubisoft open world game not made by Ubisoft.
 
So are these games rented just like on PS+ or do you actually get to own them? Last three months has looked quite decent imho, thinking of signing up.

You actually own them. You can keep them, gift them, sell them, trade them, whatever you'd like. If you stop subscribing, you still have access to everything.

If you have a 10% coupon from a previous bundle that is supposed to be for new subscribers only, you should still be able to receive the discount by simply canceling your subscription and renewing it. I've purchased the last two Monthly bundles (and canceled immediately after each purchase) but I'm still eligible to use my recent 10% new subscriber coupon on the May bundle.
 
So I just pay 10.80 right now for this bundle and I get mad max plus some other stuff? It says subscribe so can I just unsubscribe right after? All i want is mad max

Pay for it right now and you get Mad Max. At the end of the month you'll unlock the rest of this month's games.
 
All of them look nice, except Avalanche 2. Not too sure about Stikbold since it just released today (weird to put it on a bundle on release date, guess it's the PS+ equivalent)

Well, i'm broke and jobless right now, so few bucks is not good for me, i'll consider trading only if i'll be able to return at least 3/4 of bundle price. I got previous bundle literally for free, traded ARK: Survival Evolved for 15$, got 5 great games and 3$ profit. I'm not sure that there will be that huge demand on Mad Max
 
Damn. Forgot all about the South Park/This War of Mine bundle and didn't get it. I only have Nuclear Throne from this month's too, first time I wouldn't have had most of the games I was interested in. I think $11 is just the right price for Mad Max plus five other games though.

dang, was hoping it would be mordor, although I guess Mad Max is pretty good too considering it being newer, but I already own it lol

They are last months. Once the regular games are revealed, you can't get them anymore. That's the hook.
 
I subbed, was willing to pay $15(CDN) for mad max anyway so was a no brainer really.
Now that I see that I missed nuclear throne and war of mine I'm kicking myself for not subbing a few days ago

yeah that makes sense. for some reason i was thinking the "hook" would be getting the games early... but why would anyone just not wait? alright ill sign up and see how it goes since i wanted to get madmax anyways

You do get them early, if you bought the bundle during March you would have had access to those two games immediately. If you buy now you'll get Mad Max (part of next month's bundle) now and the rest of the bundle next month.

You will get a Mad Max key if you buy now, and then when the other 5 or so games are revealed in 34 days' time (First Friday of May), you'll own those games too.

There is no point in waiting if you have the money now. By the time the games are revealed it is too late to order it.
 
Hi, well I wanted to ask if anyone has a spare Renowed Explotrer key, we can make a trade for one of my humble bundle leftovers keys
 
Always wanted to play Mad Max but didn't want to drop $60 on it. I jumped on this month's bundle with the quickness. I may cancel before the next month to see what kind of goodies I receive to see if it's worth keeping the subscription.
 
Enjoy mad max. It's the super-secret GOTY for 2015. People overlooked it because just cause 3 wasn't far behind it, but it's 10 times the open world game than that and many others.

It's really good game. But it's far from GOTY imo.
Very repetitive gameplay, and bad story. I pre-ordered it and enjoyed it, played it for around 50 hours. But GOTY? No.

No I don't really think its GOTY either, I just like to bang the drum for it as it was very underappreciated,
