Electric Mech Sword Hype!

Stand by for Titanfall.

Can't wait for the second one. I'm hoping that they include a full SP campaign this time. I would be happy if it's 6 to 8 hours long as long as there are some awesome set pieces.

Hope the campaign is co-op also, though I know that may be asking for a lot.

Also hoping an improved Frontier Defense is added, just like how Gears went from Horde to Horde 2.0 and improved on it.

HECK YES. I really hope you get to have a bond with your titan like Iron Giant. That'd be so cool in a single player story!

Okay the likelihood that there is actually a cohesive plot is slim... but one can dream!

Still ain't getting my hopes up for a ps4 release until the disk is in meh tray.

Best new FPS this gen for me. Controlled like a dream. For me it was the natural evolution of what CoD should have been doing.

So happy this will be multiplat this time as well. Should cut down on the console war crap.

Holy fucking shitballs yes!

The return of the best MP shooter last gen! Lets fucking do this!

Edit: OMG IT HAS A FUCKING SWORD!

I loved the first game so I'm pretty excited about this. Swords are a highly requested addition too so I'm happy to see they are in.

I, uh, hmm...

Hopefully it has more longevity than the last one, I guess. The graphics don't look that impressive for current-gen only.

I really liked it. Too bad all of my friends jumped ship after a week (PC). Didn't know anyone with an XBO and didn't own one myself.

Why can't they make a Division-style ARPG with Titanfall?

I mean, you can get gear for YOURSELF and for YOUR MECHS.

That would be my dream game.

But with fun and diverse enemies, interesting loot, a at least passable story, a little above average shooting mechanics and less grind?

Yeah I could dig that.

Me and my friends stuck with it for a very long time until other games started to pull on our interest. I blame that the poor DLC releases with low content and the effect of constantly splitting the community into poorly thought out playlists was the game's ultimate demise.

I however call this game still the best MP shooter cause no other game have sparked my sense of joy for FPS Multiplayer shooting like Titanfall did with its verticality, quick gameplay, giant stomping mechs and wallrunning did.

I will be in day 0 on this shit!

The original game was made like it was next-gen only, just outsourced the 360 one.

I wouldn't expect a massive jump if they're still targeting a locked 60fps with multiple giant mech. And I salute them for that.

I assumed that's why the player numbers dropped off a cliff.

Titanfall was great there just wasn't a ton a variety in weapon choices and in games with that kind of progression it's always problematic for the overall life span.

I personally hope it shows up on Steam this time hopefully that will give it legs. It sucks that there's only like 300 people playing it now.

Well there's no chance on Steam unless there's a sudden and radical shift from EA.

Yeah Titanfall is the type of title that should absolutely focus on 60fps gameplay over visual flair. That thing should be smooth as butter because it controls oh so good.

Though I'm cool with 30fps campaign with better details / assets
