Titanfall 2 Teaser, full reveal June 12th at EA Play at 1PM PT, PC/XB1/PS4

I want!

Maps as good as the ones in the original
More Titans chassis
More weapons (or deeper customization)
More burn cards
An expanded online campaign
Free DLC maps (sell cosmetic shit to fund that)
Frontier Defense

TItanfall is still one of my favorite game of this gen.

I can understand that thinking too. Not saying I'm right, but the thing that killed the first Titanfall was lack of players and I'm in the group that doesn't feel any need for a campaign mode.

A below AAA price with a sensible and enticing DLC and micro transaction setup could give this game real legs. But I'm just thinking out loud, it'll be AAA and forgotten by next summer.

I think a single player mode is important. It can help flesh out the universe by making it known for something. Even games like COD have significance and popularity for their campaigns. No Russian, the sniper mission in COD4, characters like Soap.

Titanfall needs that identity. More importantly, it has the opportunity to use its movement in a way that games like BO3 never did.

I want something akin to how Bad Company 2 played to its open world, destruction strengths.

By the time I got around to playing Titanfall, the community was pretty sparse so only the attrition playlist was populated. Playing a couple of those matches and barely running into any actually humans was pretty boring. Just my experience obviously.

There's a few other things I'd like to change, but the population was the only thing that held it back for me. Real shame, I liked it a lot otherwise. I'm honestly surprised it didn't hit big.

the movement mechanics and map sizes in these games are not in the same league as titanfall

if they made a smaller/weaker titan that could run on walls and double jump, it'd be great

Then you've defeated the purpose of pilots being on foot. Titanfall is about a balance between those on foot and those in a giant robot.

Completely agree that they need to focus more on Hardpoint than Attrition. I think Attrition lead to a lot of the bad sentiment about the game's issues, whereas Hardpoint was a pretty stellar game mode and the features worked really well around it.

But there's a reason people went for attrition rather than Hardpoint, and it's up to Respawn to either change attrition or make Hardpoint more attractive. That's going to be the big key to keeping the game hot for longer.

I really like how CTF looked in Titanfall. Wasn't that as competitive and idealistic as Hardpoint?

Also, I dont know if it could work, but since they have AI, why not some kind of MOBA hybrid where you're trying to take out bases with A.I and pilots/Titans? I wonder if that would be any good

I could be way off base but when I think of the kind of map I'd like to see in TitanFall 2 it would be something similar in scale to Battlefield 3's Caspian Border: Large in scale with multiple clusters of buildings and control points for on-foot combat and a couple of open fields for mechanized combat, plus plenty of crossover points.

One thing that they really need to keep from the first game it's the Azure servers they worked amazing and that server location options was good

If this comes out around or at the same time as Infinity Ward's Call of Duty game... hoo, boy. Imagine the drama between EA and Activision regarding IW-Gate in 2010 similar to how they went at it between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 in 2011.

Oh, I do love the drama. Love the drama.

There are creature and monster in the Titanfall universe. It would be cool if there would be a coop survival with them.

Companies need to chill the fuck out with the stretched out content drips. Why are you teasing a June release now? Destiny took a month to show off a couple missions and a shader so I'm guessing this reveal will be dragged out over the course of several months.

That said, mechs with swords is unreasonably cool and Titanfall 1 was great so this already has a high floor.

are they still using source? i hope not

Yes
