Renewable energy creates a lack of energy?

Renewable energy is not exactly ready to become a primary energy source for a nation as large as america.
Small European countries maybe but china and the U.S. are investing in developing renewable energy so that some day they can switch cause history shows that the nations on the front of a new source of energy gains or hold power.

Hillary with that irritable PoliGAF poster tone of voice, having to explain that she leads in pledged delegates as well as super delegates.

She didn't say "it's already over" but you could see the thought was there.

Who cares about her tone.

She has every right to talk down to Bernie's non-existent chances when he just talked down to an ENTIRE REGION of democratic voters because they had the audacity to not vote for him.

Absolutely disgraceful.

The implication that minority votes/voters aren't worth anything because they live in a more conservative region is pretty gross, a grave miscalculation and huge mistake.

Again folks, the reason Sanders lost in the south is because Clinton does well among black voters. It's not about conservatism.
.

I'm so sick of Bernie writing off the "conservative south". The democratic voters there aren't picking Clinton because they're conservative.

Minorities shouldnt be an afterthought any month of the year. And Maryland is still coming. He needs to get his shit together.

He just aknowledged his fall. He was merely saying they have to look forward with optimism.

Don't try to twist it to justify your anger.

What state are you from? Because in the general, it most likely doesn't.

Who gives a shit? This is the democratic nominee process and I'm a democrat so my vote matters just as much as anyone. Bernie failed to appeal to African Americans in the south and is still bitter about getting crushed.

I have to give it to you. You are nothing if not dedicated.

There is little time in one's life. Getting excited for the things you want to be excited for helps you live life to the fullest and enjoy your time on this planet.

To that respect, to have a candidate who embodies so many of my own personal political viewpoints is just inspiring to see.

To be fair they were just low information voters, amirite?

Bernie trying to move the needle so far left it's going to make his supporters have trouble supporting Hillary when she wins.

Sanders did what he had to do and put up a fight. I think NY will be closer than polls suggest. I could end up being utterly embarrassed but I'm going to stick to that.

Clinton did what she needed to do as well. In short it was a status quo debate, which favors the front runner.

hillary turned on her southern accent to go through her list lol

It probably happened accidentally when she said the name of a Southern state.

As somebody who has a slightly different speech pattern when I'm home than here in California, I can say sometimes it just slips out if you're talking about the place or something you mostly talk about there.

Honestly, maybe I'm missing the furor from his comments about the south.

Going into the south everyone said: "Bernie's not going to do well in the south"

5 minutes ago, Bernie says: "I didn't do well in the south"

And that's problematic? We're insinuating that he's blaming black people in the south for his loss and not just confirming what everyone believed when he was going into those states: that he probably wouldn't do that well?

I guess I didn't take that away from his comment.

I can't believe he said that on a national debate....hasn't anyone in his camp been told that comment has a ton of racist implications.

Actually they probably just don't care, which means...well all those implications....

so much truth in this statement. this election (selection) is revealing this to all.

Bullshit in that statement. We aren't talking about the general, so miss me with that nonsense. His vote counted just fine, and thats why Bernie lost the South.

Bernie can invoke the General election when he participates in one, until then SHHHHH!

She didn't hit him as hard on it as I would have liked. But I hope her campaign goes full ham on it after tonight.

I'm legit disgusted that he had the gall to do that on the debate stage.

And here we go back to wall street

In NYC haha

Well, that's where OWS started, no? ;)

I don't think everything is related to the economic elite, potential greed, and egocentricity, but a good deal of our problems do stem from this. It should be called out more often by people.

We know the Republicans will never do this, so we need nearly everybody else to.

Still reeling over it. Really confused how this kind of perspective that casts aside entire regions has any place in progressive politics.

He said "Deep South." That has major implications behind that tone.

I absolutely loved the Independents comment. Saying how there's a large contingent of Independents who are out there and waiting in the wings and are the future of the system is a great comment. Shows forethought.

I would be less mad at moving the narrative to the left if that narrative was based on reality, and not protesting republicans to get bills passed.

The same independents who vote for Bernie and want a less liberal president than Obama?

My mom slips into her Jersey accent when around her family from Jersey even if she's been in Western New York for the majority of her life.

My sister and I always tease her about it, because it's such a thick accent for someone who only talked like that for 10 years of her life, and only goes into the accent once every few years when relatives visit.

His campaign has been harping for the last month after being crushed in the south how it doesn't matter as much.

You think the people that hired Cornell West to talk to the African American community has any forethought and commonsense?
