I liked Bernie on Israel, shame its going to lose him ground. But its nice to see I was right about him on it. He is way better than Hillary on that issue.

I mean, if I had a nickel every time this was said

You could buy a clue. Tuesdays looming breh.

I guess if you're an Hillary supporter the crowd is annoying, but if you're an Bernie supporter the crowd is energized. Funny how that works. lol

no matter who you are, this is a fucking debate. not one of Vic Berger's airhorn debates, but a real one, with real impact, and as it should be, gravitas. This crowd has been disgusting overall, and I hope to never see one like it again.

It's his hometown crowd, and nothing gets people from Brroklyn going more than "Is Brooklyn in the house." She handled it like a pro...because she is a pro. And that's why she's going to win the nomination.

She was part of a joke that made fun of black people. No, she didn't utter the words "CP time" but she definitely did joke about it. Let's be real here.

Does that joke honestly matter to you? A guy with literally black family and kids, with progressive policies in a multicultural city was being racist?

Man I hope Bernie doesn't run third party. For some reason I'm really getting the impression he will.

He won't, but he absolutely won't lend any serious support to Hillary after the convention. This is not going to be a repeat of where the Clintons stumped hard for Obama in '08.

Invoking 9/11...

This debate is in New York.

She was a senator when 9/11 happened.

Securing support for New York City and first respondents was a huge part of her work as a senator. It's how this state really knows her outside of her status as First Lady.

So why the fuck wouldn't she bring up 9/11?

I'll make an prediction...all the media pundits will say Hillary won the debate, but all of the online polls will say Bernie won the debate.

We currently have a self described Jewish socialist giving Hillary a run for her money. I don't buy the "bu bu bu Americans love Isreal, would never vote for non Christians, would never vote socialist" rhetoric.

He is not giving anybody a run for his money. He losing by 2 million votes and by 251 pledged delegates. Just because he does well with you liberals does not mean he would do well in the general. Just like Trump might do well in the Republican primary doesn't mean he would well with the general.

Bernie absolutely did not win the overall debate. The entire gun debate ruined him completely.

I disagree. Yes, that hurt him, but he had the zingers, and unfortunately, that's what gets replayed on news programs ad nauseum.

I'm a Clinton supporter, but in optics and what the news programs will likely be talking about, I think she lost (at least nationally. That ending statement was pure New York and that's important since that's where they are).

Ok.

You should really listen to the 538 podcast if you put faith in self selecting online polls.

My assessment is that most people in the crowd can't vote and nobody is really going change their mind much anyway.

Some of Bernie supporters: " God-King is gonna take NY from that shill now!".

Some of Hillary supporters: " YASS, FUCK, WERK!"

Everyone else : " There was a democrat debate?"

I think it's critical it was never used as a deflection and only as a closing statement. Well done really.

Wow David Axelrod looks so weird without a moustache.

Anyway that was a fun debate but nothing groundbreaking. Bernie better hope for some sort of insane disaster on Clinton's side if he wants that 56%

I don't think there will be an overall winner to this debate. Neither did anything to really convince the other side

Not necessarily if you look at a world political compass. Obama falls quite center right.

You implied modern American democrats have moved right of 1960s-70s American democrats which is absolutely not true.

Also I'd like to see these compasses you speak of. And not the garbage ones from politcalcompass.org.

Bernie said he knows no democrats that will desert the party to vote for trump.

Get this man a neogaf or Reddit account.

These people exist.
