Democrat Debate 10 |CNN| Sometimes I just wanna punch you in your perfect teeth.

Sanders is refusing to answer a direct question as to whether or not he'll help unify the Party if he were to lose. He pivoted to how Democrats win when turnout is large, and that he's drawing in large numbers of voters (Nevermind her having 2+ million more votes than him. They're from the South so I guess they don't count).

Kinda scary, tbh.

Deep South doesn't count. Caucuses don't count.

I never even mentioned NY.

All I'm saying is Bernie won't just disappear into the wind. He is taking this all the way to the convention and he's got some crazy momentum on the streets.

People thought The Trump was gonna go away too, how did that work out?

Except Trump been leading in the delegate count since New Hampshire. Bernie has not lead it once, in fact he is 253 delegates behind. The math for him to win is not there.

Man, is there a way they can be President and VP? I wish they'd bury the hatchet...
Fuck no, and I don't get why anyone would really want that, especially if they love what Sanders has done in the Senate. The Vice Presidency is a practically powerless position, now more than ever with all the obstructionism in Congress. All the VP can do is act as a tiebreaker in Congress, which is pointless anyway with constant filibuster nonsense. Sanders can do much, much more in the Senate then he would be able to as VP so even if they were to bury the hatchet and Clinton were to offer him the position, I'd hope he would decline because it would be a great loss with no actual benefit, especially since Sanders really wouldn't add much to Clinton's ticket anyway which is the one true purpose of the vice-presidential pick.

You mean 150 more than he currently is, right?

Sure why not? He's not making up the gap in any meaningful manner.

Ah yes, the momentum. Bernie will win the nominee despite losing the pledged delegate count, superdelegate count, state count and popular vote.

Trump? He's the frontrunner. At least he can claim to be number one, with or without the momentum.

Where are you getting this from? Have the numbers changed recently?

This is my personal prediction, based on what numbers I've seen and what momentum I feel Bernie has.

It's not at all based on cold hard facts besides some polls I saw.

Thus, even if it doesn't come true, I won't be disappointed. There are more opportunities in the future to win more delegates (until there aren't any). Then we can see if he can persuade super delegates at the convention.

She was part of a joke that made fun of black people. No, she didn't utter the words "CP time" but she definitely did joke about it. Let's be real here.
You are digging and its pretty weak.

HE made the joke and she tried to clean it up.

I don't think I've ever seen a political couple who love each other, aside from the Reagans, as much as Bernie and Jane Sanders. They are so adorable.

50 - 49 Hillary.

I have no expectation of Sanders winning NY, but if he comes incredibly close to doing it, it would be a huge upset, even if he loses.

That momentum would carry to Cali.

If Sanders loses NY 51-49, wins California 53-47 and wins every other primary 60-40 he'll still have less pledged delegates.

He's already down by 250 pledged delegates. If he loses NY and CA to Hillary, why in the world would any supers switch over to him?

The media (and Hillary supporters) are expecting a trouncing. Anything not that at all would be very impressive.

The phase we are in is math.

Hillary from this point on to the convention won more than Obama in 08 and she still lost the nomination.

He needed momentum for super Tuesday, not now.

A 50-49 result for Bernie means he has to win CA by an even bigger margin than 60%, him winning there was already a big hill to climb and a loss in NY makes it impossible.

Well, this is clearly not true.

There isn't a single poll that has her winning by only one percentage point. Are these polls in your head?

Bernie Sanders is an honorable man.

Dude's gonna lose anyway, so fuck it.

At least we get a conversation about Israel-Palestine relations that doesn't consist of Netanyahu ball washing.

Of course online polls will say he won, he could not have showed up for the debate and the reddit crowd will vote him the winner.

Right because the media pundits has been so accurate in this election. All 13 times they said Donald Trump is finished has been correct. And Hillary is currently sweeping her way to the nomination, just like they said. Awesome job media pundits! :)

Hillarys phony smile disgusts me.

Bernie has so much integrity for what he said about being more fair on the Israel/Palestine conflict.

So...what you're saying is that given the fact that today's polls reveal that Hillary has further widened the gap between her and Bernie, with estimates having her at 57% of the vote, that your gut feeling is telling you she'll only win by 50%?

Listen, none of this is going to happen.

He's not a democrat. He doesn't have the popular vote. He doesn't have momentum because the polling shows that he's not going to win NY which is a closed primary.

I understand you want him to win, but thinking there is a remote chance of supers swapping sides when he literally has nothing to show is not in the realm of reality.

Momentum is a crazy and unquantifiable.

Kennedy's wife loved him I know its dark but when he was shot she started trying to save parts of him. that is the most chilling part of the assassination to me.

According to online polls, Ron Paul won every Republican debate.

Did you read my post? I said I based my prediction on polls that I have seen and my feeling on how the spread will be different come voting time.

I've seen polls where he's down by like 15 or 17 points. I think it's much closer than that because of his momentum.

Show me *one* poll that has her winning by only one point.

I'll wait.

How has momentum done ANYTHING this election?

It's the biggest bullshit line pull by the media. There is absolutely no evidence to support it exists.

That's in 5 days!

New York is a SUPER closed primary, if you didn't switch to the democratic party back in OCTOBER, you can't participate in it.

Momentum means nothing in NY since anyone that decided they like Sanders more in the last 5 months won't be able to vote for him.
