Think of it this way; at this stage, Bernie is like a Fist of the North Star mook who's already been hit by Kenshiro and told he's already dead. But instead of exploding, he spends the next 20 episodes following Ken around and yelling he's going to beat him this time
"Yay Bernie won" isn't really saying he has a chance. The fact that some are conflating the two and letting it get to them is both interesting and telling.
There was a real risk of physical violence and possibly even a race riot with pro-Trump bikers and truckers coming into town and confronting anti-Trump protesters. Fuck all that noise.

It can be annoying when people don't acknowledge the fact that their crappy memes have a better chance of hanging in the Louvre than Sanders has of winning the nomination.
How many guaranteed delegates does Trump have? Doesn't he have a bunch of Delegates who were elected with the assumption they were supporting Trump (like in Pennsylvania).

I actually think he's still going to lose Indiana, just not by much.
Still would be a terrible result for him given he spent a bunch of money in Indiana, even after cutting back a bit once Clinton didn't buy in advertising in the state whatsoever (or any of the rest of the states left to primary).
I hear you man, I hear you. It was a fun ride and Sanders really reached me on a political level I never knew. I think a whole new way now, and I think he'll have an everlasting effect on many young people.
It's been one hell of a ride. I just feel the people have spoken, and, it's time to focus.
OK I'll bite: she really have went after Bernie. In fact no one has (like John Kasich on the GOP side). Let's say Sanders is the nominee. Had is he going to handle everything the GOP throws at him that has not come up at all? When you haven't been attacked, when the Skelton's in the closet haven't come out, you always look great compared to the person who is constantly being pulled down. When is suddenly you that drastically shifts. If Trump can soon the narrative that Cruz's dad was part of the JFK assassination just wait until he starts calling Sanders a Commie and tying him to Castro and Chairman Mao.
When your first statement is just wrong I'm not going to follow up. Hilary has countless misleading attacks on him. Also the media has already compared him to Castro at the miami democratic debate.
Right on cue, initial returns from Lake County (Gary) show Clinton leading there with 65 percent. A few minutes ago, Sanders had taken the lead, thanks to strong showings in two college towns: Bloomington (Monroe County) and South Bend (St. Joseph County). But Clinton can probably count on many more favorable votes yet to be counted in minority-heavy precincts of Gary and Indianapolis. Sanderss best outstanding area is probably Lafayette (Tippecanoe County).
You're making an assumption to, my man. His original post said nothing about this victory meaning Bernie has a chance. You said that. Also, just because I'm disagreeing with you, doesn't mean my knickers are in a twist. I'm not even wearing underpants right now. Nothins twistin
In the end, all Hillary needs to do is make sure Bernie has a spot in her administration to help get most of his voters on her side. And really, that's the best Bernie can hope for at this point sadly.
I think Cruz might be going scorched Earth. Might be so pissed at Trump that he would rather Hillary won, and he can come back in 4 years to try again.
Why don't you go ask him then if it bothers you that much? It's pretty obvious what Bernie fans are annoying and which ones aren't, go on twitter and look at them behaving like children that aren't even old enough to vote.
True though, that a lot of people are just bored of hearing Bernies name, he's in this for vanity reasons now, he knows full well it's nigh on impossible to win.
Edit - Well, you sound like you're throwing your toys out of the pram, calm down, isn't worth the effort mate
For every new conservative voter Trump pulls in, 2 are pushed away. The Republican party is not a purely ideological legion, like Cruz has assumed.
Clinton may have high unfavorables and an unavoidable chain to the Washington establishment, but Clinton does not terrify a massive chunk of the population the way Trump does.
I disagree. Clinton does terrify a massive chunk of the population, just not one as big as Trump does. HRC has been terrifying Republicans for longer than a lot of Bernie Sanders voters have been alive.
Maybe instead of just wanting him and his followers to shut up and fall in, Hillary should try to work with Bernie to get his supporters on her side, like Obama did with her. I just get the feeling Hillary wants to just shut him out entirely.

And that only played to the primary electorate, which makes a very small percentage of general electorate. The general election electorate will start paying attention the election some time after the conventions, but most probably after Labor Day. Once the Swiftboating and GOP attacks start, Bernie will be toast. Americans would rather elect a fascist than a socialist.

I feel you. I find that kind of endearing though. The 'every person should have a chance to vote' principle is cool to me. It's over, but who cares if its exciting millennials and involving them with politics? That's a great thing imo.

If it were only a "yay Bernie won" you would have a point. Unfortunately it's usually followed up by name calling and accusations of corruption of the competition. It's tired, childish, and counter productive to the bigger picture. That at least what I have been observing for the past couple months.
This is coming from someone who voted for Bernie. It's become more than irritating and I honestly can't wait for this to be over so we can focus on making sure that racist hasn't a shot at the White House.

I understand. He's had a huge impact on me. I'm so happy that he got this far in this election. It makes me optimistic that one day we will have a progressive as president.

I disagree strongly with why it is you think Bernie is still running. I don't know how you perceive other people if you listen to Bernie sanders and 'vain' is the first thing that pops into your head.
Also, Lol why do you keep assuming I'm mad, dude. I don't think anyone here is actually upset. We're cool.

Imagine what the GOP and right wing PACs would make of his Castro defense in a general in a critical swing state like Florida.
They wouldn't even bother asking him a question like at the Miami debate. They'd play clips of Fidel Castro and Sanders praising him and then play clips of Castro talking about Revolution and Bernie talking about a political revolution and bread lines and whatever and fuck it would be over before it started.
In the end, all Hillary needs to do is make sure Bernie has a spot in her administration to help get most of his voters on her side. And really, that's the best Bernie can hope for at this point sadly.
Bernie is better off in the Senate making those side deals and being friendly with Warren than he is in a token cabinet position. I really don't get why his supporters would actually want that for him.

Yes the only time he has really been hit hard was in Florida. That it happened right after Michigan combined with the way that Clinton seemed more prepared to talk about it than Sanders was makes me think that the Clinton campaign might have slipped a tip to florida reporters. It's pretty much the only time that Clinton showed off her sharp elbows.
How did that work out for him again? He proved completely unable to fend off a line of attack that wouldn't magically go away for the GE either.
Both sides being the same is entirely dependent on what criteria you're using to separate them. You're evidently using a different criterion from them. For example, I think few would argue that democrats are better on social issues than republicans. There are, of course, more issues than social ones.

Well, of course you do. There is no reason for him to be in, I don't think he should drop though. It's clear he's in this because he doesn't wanna upset his support base. But if he wants to be honest, he should stop peddling the idea he has a chance. It's misleading and he's lying to get donations.
Oh, so would I. His comments recently just make me think his only goal is to keep Trump out of the White House, even if that mean Hillary wins. I don't even think a 3rd party run is out of the question for him.

Even on the economy they aren't the same. One side wants to raise the minimum wage and the other doesn't. The only way both sides are the same is if you don't pay any attention.
