Holy shit they have a Blu-Ray of this. I've been waiting for this. They use colorized real footage from the war. The Apocalypse WWII series is also very good with the same sort of footage. It's on the US Netflix right now.

Yep, I just found out they had it on blu-ray a couple of months ago. I've been meaning to pick it up on blu-ray, but just never got around to it. I've got the series recorded on my DVR.

No problem! Unfortunately, the full series isn't on youtube. But you can still catch it on tv sometimes here in the US. If you're in the US, it comes on the AHC (American Heroes Channel). I highly recommend watching.

Until i realised zeppelins.

But overall the switch to the past is gonna help with some problems the game had with the last 2/3 games. Like indeed unbalanced and annoying airbattles, lots of gadgets etc

Just hope they ditch Premium so they dont feeled forced to add gadgets to dlc to sell that dlc.

If anyone is looking for a WW1 game with a good narrative I highly recommend Valiant Hearts. Its an interesting puzzle game that also provides history on the conflict.

Great game, though it would have been even better had they excised the weird steampunk pulp shit in favor of a more consistently realistic tone.

Just think about riding into battle on a horse while there are dogfights in the air, tanks are rolling over trenches and a Zeppelin raid is happening at the same time in MP. Battlefield will absolutely do the scale of the war justice

Horses didn't really play a big part in the war, unless you're talking about moving artillery and wounded men from the battlefield. There were a group of veterinarians that were were out on the battlefield treating wounded horses, but most of them died, and the few injured ones that made it home were sold for meat.

There were quite a few armored cars that were in use at that time. One of them was made by Rolls Royce! Most of them had light machine guns attached to them, too. I really want to mow down suckers with a machine gun mounted on a Rolls Royce. We also had motorbikes back then, too. They were used all over the place during the war.

Micro. I think they realised after BC2 that to much destruction isnt always better. Because in BC2 after a while everything was down and the flow of the map was complete gone.
