This will be my first jump into multiplayer military games since MoH: AA and CoD MW. This is what I've been waiting for!

The Battleship stuff will probably be like usual - you sit in a turret shooting cannons or an AA gun while the ship auto-circles an island.
Once people find out just how crazy and varied WWI was, they won't need to ask for an alternate universe setting.
We have armoured knights with flamethrowers fighting against sword-wielding cavalry while zeppelins float in the sky above dogfighting biplanes. It's a steampunk wet dream.

Really thirsty for gameplay. Will most likely be there day -3. I wonder how far the destruction will really go in this entry.
Bad music choice, but the game itself looks pretty amazing. Will still have to see more to see how much has really changed compared to the other BFs.

Looks great but these trailers always do. I will keep my expectations a little lower at the moment though, because we've seen these vertical slices before and downgrades can sometimes follow.
High end PC version will probably look similar but will wait to see more actually gameplay first.
Hope they can finally nail a decent campaign with this game, I'm sure multiplayer will be great as usual. I like the setting though, it looks very interesting. Definitely looking forward to this.

It has typically been up to 5 days early and 10 total hours of play time.
Seven Nation Army would have fit a less "explosion" trailer more, yes. This cover fit the trailer far better though.
Also Glitch Mob is most definitely not dubstep.
WW1 was fucking insane:

I knew they didn't need to go alternative WWI, just use creative license. It was a weird time.
Seeing what happened with Battlefront 3, I think it's pretty safe to assume there will be no downgrade.

I wasn't convinced about the WWI rumors at all, but the trailer was pretty legit. Color me excited now.
Wow. Just wow. I love it. I've been playing BF since the Secret Weapon days, and am very interested in this game. It seems incredible to me, and is exactly what I've been wanting after being completely burnt out on modern/near future shooters. I even like the name! Cannot wait for more screens, videos, and info.

I'm not really into multiplayer but this game has my full attention. Looks absolutely phenomenal! DICE has to be one of the more underappreciated developers in the industry. The scale, visuals, and all around presentation they pull off no matter the hardware they're working on is always impressive. Their multiplayer components are always a blast as well (BF3 was the last online mode I put meaningful time into). AND they pump games out at a solid clip.
....so you want a game where you spend most of the time trying not to get trench foot and then you die in a gas attack?
Yeah... I forgot how big flip phones were.

One, the game is set in an actual, real life war, so stuff like "Military rank" and "Lots of guns" are not cliches... It's just what the game is about.

The beta is what is gonna have to convince me. If it's nothing but Conquest, I'm gonna be super leery. Surely DICE knows there's folks out there that want something other than Conquest 24/7 and will have those modes in for them to see.
It'll sell well, but I doubt it. COD is too ingrained with a certain demographic. They'll buy COD simply because their friends buy it
