There was some wii U thread that was necro bumped afte rthe real specs became known and some dude posted a .gif of a stick figure being piled driven while quoting a whole bunch of posts. It always made me laugh.

Anyone know where I can find that thread?

There are a whole bunch of classic GAF posts that just kill me.

Sorry, but I won't do that. I am not a handle and don't want people to think or refer to myself as such. The name I normally respond to is Rick Chapman. Not "Jonnax" or "Viking110" or whatever. I can't even imagine why people would expect me, or anyone else, to do this. Rather dehumanizing. And I don't want people to have to hit two clicks to know who they're talking to. In this thread, when you talk to me, you are talking to Rick Chapman, author of Rule-Set.

Of course, if you LIKE being referred to via a handle, that's fine by me! I just don't.

If there is a specific policy which lays out how I can end my posts, please point it out to me. I've received at least one post from someone that had their name, pub, link. I rather like that. If I want to know more, it's easy to get to.

If there's some sort of community banning procedure, I fully understand and feel free to ban me. YOUR community!

It's an utter shame that poster doesn't even have a tag to commemorate such a post. Like it's one of the most memorable posts on the gaming side ever, yet even though the poster is still active, no one will know he created such a masterpiece.

The Imagine: Babyz Fashion thread which spawned Dudebro II: My Shit Is Fucked Up So I Got to Shoot/Slice You: It's Straight-Up Dawg Time.

I wish all the images still worked, but damn, that Imagine: Babyz Fasion thread was a classic.

Here's the specific post that generated the Dudebro title. Basically, Arpharmd B (a NeoGAF user) said that cuyahoga (original creator of the Imagine Babyz thread) was a pedophile for playing Imagine: Babyz Fashion. cuyahoga replied with: "So, I'm a pedophile because I don't want to play Dudebro, My Shit is Fucked Up So I Got to Shoot/Slice You II: It's Straight-Up Dawg Time? To throw around these sort of accusations at someone who seeks to do something different suggests quite the insecurity on your part."
 
Best one might be the one where the guy wanted to see if he was gay and went to a strangers house, blew him off, took a napkin and said thanks and came back to post it on GAF.
 
This count is just for the this software version of the forum, right? It would be amazing to know the total post count from the beginning of the forum itself (back in 1999?) regardless of software platform.
 
100,000,000th post should win a meet & greet with Evilore, which ends up as a bizarre Ex Machina-style story including "I'm in the bathroom and I need advice" thread.
