Curry is Azor Ahai confirmed.

Barkley doesn't hate the Warriors. He just thought that being a jump shooting team isn't good enough to go all the way. Or at least, that's what he thought last year. "Yeah, nice shooting, but it won't last, or it'll be beaten in the playoffs.:

Now, his reaction is more stupefied, more "I am dumbfounded that the game of basketball can be played like this. I never knew this was possible" than "Nope, not gonna work."

His reaction makes sense considering the Era he's from. Until the late 2000s, you won the game of basketball with the midrange game, the pick and roll, and the post up down low. Now? You get good long range shooting or fast break/slashers. You get PFs and centers who can shoot the 3 like KAT and Durant, which is a foot or two beyond the range of previous bigs like KG and Duncan.

I don't think he deep down hates the Warriors but he's been trolling the Bay Area for quite awhile now.

This article was from 2007 when he predicted the Mavs would decimate the Warriors in the playoffs.

Right. Like they'd love to throw you in the bay. On Sunday, Barkley dissed cities on both sides of the Bay Bridge on national TV. Pretending to be stung by a clamorous reaction by rabid Warriors fans, Barkley claimed that "I would rather stay on Alcatraz than San Francisco or Oakland."

"I learned that when I was playing," he said Monday night. "Because even when they sucked, the fans were still loud and obnoxious. I can't imagine how loud and obnoxious they are now that they are winning."

Charles still does not believe in them a month ago he said the only reason they won last year is because of injuries to other teams and this year they would lose to the Clippers in the playoffs (this was before the Paul and Blake injuries).

Yeah, the Clipper stuff is hilarious. And is one of the examples of him dismissing Draymond. He mentioned multiple times about how they could "punish" Golden State in the post. Like he doesn't realize Draymond is the best defender in the league. Certainly the best at his position at least.

Lmao at the announcer that hinted there wouldn't be a difference if your switched Lillard and Curry.

Jason Smith just throwing shade to be the controversial opinion talking piece. His argument about the Bulls was idiotic and wrong (they almost went to the ECF without Jordan and still won like 55 games).

Going with Smiths argument, Tom Brady is a system QB because when he was injured Matt Cassel came in and lead the Patriots to an 11-5 season. It's just an idiotic argument to make.

So Curry is in contention for best regular season ever and sole owner of best OT performance ever playoffs or not?
Yes to the first question.

Sole owner of the best OT performance I'm not sure, but he did score the most points in an overtime period ever (regular season or playoffs).

Damn, I should have waited on the intimate time with the gf and watched Steph finish this out. I knew I shouldn't have missed this.

okc/gsw will be a fun series to watch if the spurs are eliminated.

and OKC/gsw vs cleveland will be a hell of a finals IMO
OKC/GSW will be fun to watch, but I don't think the outcome will ever be in doubt. Warriors will crush them.

I'm still hoping for Warriors vs Spurs. If we don't get it, we are unquestionably in the bad timeline.

Donald Trump is running for president. I'm pretty sure we're in the bad timeline. :(

I worry a little bit about this Kanter resurgence. Him Adams and Durant makes for a gigantic lineup that could hurt the Warriors' small ball on the boards. Though I think Kanter might get roasted on D with Draymond at center so hopefully Donovan isn't able to play that combo in crunch time, but we'll see. Also worried about Durant since he always seems to score 50 on GS.

But it could still be SA. Series ain't over.
