At this point the superdelegates should just peel the bandaid off and end this tomorrow. His supporters and the candidate himself are not to be reasoned with and being petulant children at this point. We know how this ends already. Just get it over with already.

Is that possible even if he makes Clinton non-viable in Cali?
If he makes Hillary non-viable and takes all 425 delegates. Yes.

Problem is that won't EVER happen. California loves the Clintons. Not even Obama could take that state from her in 08 and most polls show her ahead of Bernie by double digits.

Bernie would be lucky to keep it close in California.

It would take a miracle for him to winwin.

And he ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT make her non-viable.

It's over.

That he still pushes this narrative that he can catch up to Hillary is just the latest instance of him blatantly lying to his supporters. It's gross.

You mean the state where she averages a 9.7 point lead in the polls?

Yeah but even magic and rainbows and he wins all of California's delegates, can he even mathematically take the lead in that scenario?

Jesus Christ, Bernie can go fuck himself. Making threats, thinking super delegates will join up after he threatens them with taking his ball and going home? What a shit.

Out of curiousity, if Bernie were to not win California, or even tie, can he still catch up at all?

He has to win every single state at a 65% (35% for Hillary) vote share, or a 30 point margin. This has been the case since New York a couple weeks back.

He not only has to win every single one of them, he needs a blow out. Anything less just increases that percentage he needs to win on the remaining states so tonight it should be closer to 70%. By the time California rolls around, it should be close to 80%.

He will after he negotiates a treaty with Mexico. This treaty will give then ownership of California and seal his nomination as the the Democratic candidate

I believe it is a 35 point margin now.

Actually that margin has gone up week after week because he hasn't been hitting that mark at all. At this point he'd need to win damn near 100% of the delegates in California and if he can't blow her out in Oregon there's no way he can win California.

I am officially fucking sick of Comrade Sanders.

Time for Old Man River to ride off the sunset. Hopefully he's burned all of his bridges and his career is over.

Bernie is behind by about 300 delegates with about 900 to play for. California is 475 of them.

If Bernie and Hillary split California evenly, he'll be 300 down with 400 to play for, and he'll need to win the remaining primaries by about 87/13 to win the nomination.

So yes, totally plausible, he will be the next president.
