On our recent trip to Venice we got upgraded to the Doge's Room at the Ca' Maria Adele. I managed to bash my head into the chandelier and the wall sconces several times.
It was like sleeping in an opulent red bordello, but I was suffering from a horrible stomach virus so the comfy bed and bathroom were a godsend. I was a bit sad that I could barely nibble at the complementary "order as many things as you want" breakfasts.

A client once took me on a private jet to visit a factory... That was amazing.
Not opulent per se, but I was able to stay after hours at a comedy club once in LA and meet Dane Cook, Craig Robinson, and a few others, just drinking and playing the instruments left on stage.
I've been fortunate to travel a lot, but usually not much opulence involved

It's the only way to fly. After you have flown private, you can't go back. Not dealing with airlines, lines, luggage, baggage screening and more makes flying so absurdly efficient and actually fun.

In no specific order and off the top of my head: private box at the Hungarian Opera; a hundred-dollar wagyu steak; a private helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon; stayed in a 17th century apartment on Dubrovnik's Stradun; drove a speedboat down the Vltava in Prague; slept on a luxury junk in Ha Long Bay; stayed in a private beach hut in Egypt with a private stretch of beach (not so much opulent since it was a shack, but the water was about 5 steps from the door of the thing).
There's probably more and I wouldn't class most of that as opulent.

Nothing that comes close to that haha. I once stayed in a 5 star resort and spa on the beach for a couple weeks. That's about it.

I'd go to that hotel but only if they did it the correct and proper way, which means instead of a skyscraper in a city it is instead in the suburbs and comprised of each room being its own separate structure with a lawn.

Why? Living well is a good thing. Experiencing the finer things in life is a pleasure. It doesn't have to be a massive thing either. When I was 26 I did an all inclusive trip to Mexico at a 3 star resort. It was the nicest place I had ever been to at the time and I still have memories from it that I hold dear.

Yo Tabris that Rolls Royce baller as fuck but man that room was a let down, thought the rooms would be more decadent than that.
As for me, aside from the physical high of Heroin the best was staying at a Mexican Villa, very nice the place was huge.
I had the whole top level to myself rest of my family was at the bottom my parents had the bigger room with a wall full of booze.

I've travelled a bit, but I don't believe I've ever been to a hotel that was higher than four stars.
The most memorable experience I've had in a hotel is cocktails at the beaver club in the Montreal Hilton next to the new forum. The bartenders there are great. Definitely check it out if you guys are ever at the Mtl Hilton.
Edit, my bad, the beaver club is at the fairmont not Hilton. My bad.

A lot of "opulent" things I experienced when I was too young to appreciate. I grew up with my mom working as a diplomat in NY and we went to fancy restaurants, shows, and the orchestra all the time. But of course when your 8-10 that's just boring old people stuff.
Went to Europe when I was in high school on an optional school trip. 5 days in Rome, 3 in Paris, 3 in London. I paid half out of my savings, parents paid the other half. It was pretty great, but I wish I had done it later in life, just because I think I would have appreciated it more (wasn't terribly into history when I was younger...got into it when I was in college).

Forgot another thing I did. I got to see a Bulls game in a Skybox. This was like 5 games before Jordan came back in 94'. Food was so good. My mother won the tickets at her work.
Same here. Not going to lie, having an entire cruise dedicated to food, alcohol, and entertainment kinda blew me away the first few days haha.
My family was in the VIP section of a Norwegian Cruise Line Cruise (week long or so). There was a bunch of exclusive areas, including a restaurant with killer banana caramel pancakes.
I ate in the other restaurants more frequently but it had a small snack area too, which was convenient.

I've done the more typical middle class bucket list: flown first class, stayed at the Hilton, eaten at a Michelin-starred restaurant, driven a Lamborghini ... but I've never once been motivated to earn more money to do those things. It's just consuming things that are considered exclusive in our society, decadence is the appropriate word for me.

Stayed at the SF Intercontinental on my company's dime.
And I had the privilege of posting in this stealth brag thread.
We stayed there Saturday night actually! AMAZING view! We were put on the 15th and probably a cheaper room, but still the best hotel we've ever experienced.
Helped someone with their dental exam so I guess it was worth it for them to have me ready to go in the morning!
