I'm so glad I stayed awake for it. If there was one E3 that should be experienced live it was that one.
It was fucking crazy. I've never felt quite like that. I usually have a conversation with my friend after these things since he doesn't watch them live and when he asked me "so how was it?" I was just trembling. I couldn't believe that those things actually happened. I don't think it is possible to top last year and that is not a slight at platform holders at all. There isn't anything that could top it. Crash is not even in the same league for me. Half-Life 3 is in that league but it alone can't top last year. To top last year it would have to be like 5-7 older franchises resurrected.
This time I'm expecting to see more info on all these things that got me so deliciously hyped last year with some additional new goodies.
I was awake Irish time drinking a few beers and when they opened with The Last Guardian I honestly thought i was hallucinating.
Then FF Remake and Shenmue.
Just unbelievable.
That conference was the best I had ever seen.

I guess Detroit, WiLD, Matterfall, Dreams only had the beta confirmed for 2016 so the full game is looking to be 2017 and of course MLB The Show 17 lol
Plus some that will get delayed from this year (Horizon am cry). This games are expected to be out this year

Last year I edited a trailer for the Sony Conference and this was one of my comments:

Not to mention the description: "I believe in The Last Guardian coming back. Do you?" .. what happened was crazy. This year I just don't feel the same hype, unfortunately.

Last year conference was amazing .
Watching it live and seeing the reactions on GAF\online was great .
Don't think any year can top it but still looking forward to this one with gaf chat like usual .
If Sony talks about Neo i expect to see GOW4 using it hardware power .

Now way is this going to top last year. But if Crash and Spider-Man are real, well, that would get me hyped for sure.
Also, if Sucker Punch really is working on Spidey, I hope they treat it like the Batman Arkham games and let it be its own thing, rather than closely releasing/following the upcoming film. I would love a good non-LEGO non-mobile Marvel game.

Yeah, I've never seen a thread fill up so quickly. It was a page every few seconds...and that was even with regular crashing.

It was pretty unbelievable, very surreal. I didn't want Gaf to draw my attention away so was just sitting there giggling thinking 'holy shit Gaf will be going absolutely fucking ballistic' lol. Have much lower expectations for this year but still keen.
I still think is was a dream, just haven't woken up yet.

I think, as someone said earlier, they haven't even announced streaming plans and such yet so they may just be taking their time. But by this time last year I had already registered for the ticket and everything so I don't know.

Yeah, lower expectations going into this one too...two conferences like that in a single gen is pretty unlikely.
I have multiple monitors so I keep GAF up on one side and the conference on the other. It wouldn't be E3 without a few server timeout or server not found errors.

I think I am just going to go back and read through the thread once the conference is over. It just moves way too fast to keep up lol.
Dont worry most of it will be people complaining about clapping or that they talk to much even though its been like 5 minutes.

As soon as 1 indie shows up people will be complaining about how they have shown nothing, conference is boring, it's ridiculous. Same as anytime 1 thing shows up that doesn't interest them, I swear no one has any perspective these days.
